The One And Thirty Four Contest

Here's another contest from a fellow CDO Blogger!
Mommy Dharlz More Food Adventures blog is turning a year older and as a way of saying thank you she organized a contest on her blog. The contest is called "One and Thirty Four" because aside from her blog turning 1 year she to turn 34 this year.
After reading her blog post of the contest I immediately write this post to join the contest since the food prizes that Mommy Dharlz will be giving is my faves. And here's why...

  • A Pint of Gelato from Missy Bon Bon would be a nice way to celebrate since it very yummy. I love Missy Bon Bon!
  • Well, I have been a patronage of My Cake Store's mango float which is just accross Mbox Internet Cafe and Business Center where I use to hangout. So this My Cake Store GC would definitely great for grabs too.
  • A Box of Pizza de Oro Pizza is yummy and I would love to try there pizza since I haven't tasted it yet.
  • Mamsuy's Spanish Sardines... Ive been hearing so many friends telling how delightedly tasty it was but I was having second thoughts buying one since I don't eat spicy and mom doesn't eat much sardines because it'll upset her tummy. However if I win this its the chance I would taste it!

Contest will end on May 27, 2010. For more information please refer to the contest post.

My Favorite Mango Float in Missy Bon Bon

I treat myself to Missy Bon Bon today since Ive been craving for there gelato few days back. It was full of customer when arrived and everyone is very busy picking up pastries and snacks that they want to eat. As for me I went directly to where the gelato was to choose for the flavor that I would like to taste when I saw a lady carrying my favorite mango float on her tray. I immediately went to were the cakes was displayed for I know the mango float is also displayed there, I was very happy at what I saw because they already have small layer size (worth Php 85). The first time I visit in Missy Bon Bon this is only served in big layers (worth Php 450). And so I grabbed one mango float for myself and matched it with fresh pineapple juice and strawberry gelato.

CDObloggers at Missy Bon Bon Breadshop

I just had an excellent breakfast at Missy Bon Bon Breadshop with fellow CDObloggers today. We were invited to come and visit the place by the owner, Mr. Henrik Yu.
While on the way I was a bit sleepy but when I entered Missy Bon Bon I just suddenly felt hungry. The sweets, cakes and breads were so yummy to look. I was also greeted by the friendly staffs that keep on smiling.

I ordered Missy Pancake match with brewed coffee and I was right that there food was indeed yummy. I also had a chat with the owner while I was taking pictures at the cakes and sweets area and discovered that their products are made of healthy ingredients which are perfect for those people who are on a diet. Mr. Henrick Yu also said that there are more products to come soon. I personally want to try there mango float but they don't offer it in per slice price; it is good only for one whole.

he CDObloggers really had fun food tasting and picture taking of the place. And definitely will come back and hangout more often to the place because we just discovered they offer free wifi.

Big thanks to Mr. Henrik Yu and his staffs! The place was so cozy, the food was fantastic and the staffs are so friendly.

Missing Foodtrip!

One thing I miss now is food trip. It has always been one of my ultimate comfort and favorite hobby with me, myself and I. But lately I haven't done this anymore since Ive been busy with my work and catching up with my schedules. I've been doing a lot of pending task and power interruptions eating up my time as well. I'm still finding ways to arrange my working schedule and luckily the long holiday has help me loosen up some of the task. Hopefully next week I get to do my food trip and spend some time doing nothing but eating my faves. I'm actually craving of dessert particularly, parfaits at Ice Castle (hmmmm... yummmy!!!!).

Urgh! I will definitely treat myself to Ice castle next week!

My Favorite Tomatoes

I remember a friend told me that lucky is the guy who is going to marry me someday. Why she said so? Well it's because I survive eating my meals with just rice and my ever favorite tomatoes in vinegar. ;) hehehe I really love tomatoes specially the green ones which is crunchy (yummmmy!!!) . I wouldn't cry or get mad if they left me with no food in the house as long as there are tomatoes left. Tomatoes was also what I used to eat when I was pregnant with Justine Mars even if theres a yummy food served I always look for tomatoes.

Friday Foodtrip with Friends

Together with friends last Friday, we went to Limketkai Mall for food trip and bonding. We first dine at Shabu-Shabu in the second floor of Limketkai Mall. It was my... or rather our first time to try dining in the place so we were amaze at how they serve their food it was like a picnic at your backyard. The restaurants ambiance doesn't really have that outdoor look but the way they cook or even grilled your food right on top of your table where you eat made me think that we are having a picnic. :D It definitely made our tummy full after finishing our order which is ofcourse their specialty, the Shabu-Shabu.

After dinner we went to Coffeworks for some coffee shakes and wifi access. But it did not end there since before going home we bought pizza at Yellow Cab and eat... eat... again.

Pre-Valentines Night Out with Friends

It’s Friday Night and everyone is in the mood for fun. First we spent our dinner at Mandarin Tea Garden with my former workmates. After dinner, some of us went home while the others went at Dad’s for a sing along. We had fun singing our heart out until the rest of the gang arrived and together we drink, dance and sing. But it never ended there, our next stop was in Pulse where some of us got already drunk but still we managed to dance.. dance.. and dance. It was really a fun night to remember. And even if I don’t have any dates on the 14th of February, I treasure that night I spent with real friends and have real good laugh. ;)

Foodtrip with Janlac

Last night Janlac and I had a crazy food trip. We headed to Limketkai since she craved for siomai and me for cake. we drop at Limketkai but it was already closed. We actually taught there is a midnight sale but instead it was Robinsons who was having a midnight sale. So we bought siomai there and a Crema de fruta from Cecil's.

And then ordered manhattan meat lovers pizza at Yellow Cab.

We were really laughing because we bought so much food and we haven't even finished everything since we're already feeling very full. It was one awesome night of girl bonding and sharing of everything including Janlac's passion to spicy sauces. OMG! My mouth was really in heat trying that spicy sauce in my pizza. I just realized that even if Janlac and I have different taste and likes we still manage to compliment with each other. The difference was never an issue for us to be closer with each other. :)

Dinner Before The Big Day!

Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3 Pre dinner party was sponsored by Loreto's Bar and Grill. It was fun dining with our MBS 3 host Migs Hipolito, PBA representative Juned Sonido, PBA volunteers and MBS 3 Organizers. We were expecting other guests and speakers of the MBS 3 to join us in that dinner but sadly, they didn't arrive. Anyway, the food was great; our stomachs were in full tank mode lols. At least for a while we had fun playing billiards and singing videoke before heading back to Pearlmont Inn and continue preparing for the event the next day.
Thank you very much to Loreto's Bar and Grill!

Feast of Desserts!

Today has been a feast of desserts. After Lunch someone treat me a halo2x from Tapsi.

And during our afternoon snack one of my workmate bought a Selecta Ice Cream, Rocky Road flavor. It was supposed to be Pistachio flavor but to bad its out of stock in the store nearby and I got lazy buying it in another store.(lols) Anyways we all love ice cream and we are thankful someone treat us!

Fiesta At Work

It’s Kagay-an City Fiesta and we have work. However, our boss treated us for a fiesta lunch here at work. There was beef spaghetti cooked by Angela, Salad made by Sheryl, lechon baboy and manok, and grilled pork. Angela also made fruit punch which was so fruity delicious since she did not put too much gin in it. Everyone had their stomachs full after eating.

Happy Saint Augustine Fiesta Cagayan de Oro!

Happy Birthday Kristo Magno!

Last night along with the KMPH workmates celebrated the birthday of our boss Kristo Magno at Loreto's Resto Grill. Jigs and his team also joined the party. As usual we reserved the Coca Cola room but unfortunately the karaoke doesnt gave score after every song which was supposed to be anticipated by one of our workmate since we bet that he should get a score of 100. But it was a fun night and everyone was drunk except me (just had 2 bottles of San Mig light).

Happy Birthday Kristo Magno!

Fun Shots @ Galam!

I forgot to blog that CDOBloggers is officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Yepeey! This is the reason why last July 11, 2009 (Saturday) we schedule an ID photo shoot for CDObloggers officers at Galam. Too bad not all officers was able to come, so the rest of the hours was spend taking fun shots which we usually do.

Check out more photos here....
