What I Wore | Halter Maxi Dress & Antique Statement Necklace

Hi there! Its been awhile since I have shared a post here in my blog...
Been so busy with multiple jobs. Need to work hard for holiday season and I also have lots of events Ive attended that I cannot wait to share with everyone here.
Here's an outfit I wore at one of the events I have attended. I really love this halter maxi dress because its very comfy and flattering to your body. The cloth is spandex. I specially love side-slit on the dress.
To finish the look I wore this antique inspired multi-chain statement necklace that I received recently from Happiness Boutique. I really love the quality of the necklace. I also love the personalized packaging of Happiness Boutique. Perfect for gifts specially this holiday season. ;)

My Vampire

How is everyone doing?
Been drafting this post for couple of days already. So many distractions and "to-do-list" I have to attend that I left no time to blog and read blogs.
Thanks for the comments on my previous post. Since a lot of you just learned about me being a single mom. Today, will be sharing some photos of my son on his costumes at the Halloween events he has attended this year... McDonald's Fun Day and Centrio Mall Trick or Treat.
Days before Halloween he was very excited for Halloween because he wants to wear vampire costume. And so vampire it is...
For McDonald's Fun Day it was more of the classic inspired style with long sleeve, gloves, slack and black shoes.
For Centrio Mall Trick or Treat we went for a modern style with jeans, sneakers and yes the cape of course.
Make use of clothes he already has and just bought the cape. As for the vampire look I just place some BB cream to make his face pale and then use my red lipstick for the blood effect on his mouth. Was not able to find any vampire teeth in stores (Its sold out!) so his not wearing any fangs. It was already late when I discovered, I can make a DIY fangs with the fake nails. Maybe next time I can use this newly discovered idea.
It's always a learning lesson balancing single parent duties, earn for a living, de-stress/chill with my friends and enjoy life as it comes.  I am so glad my kid is smart to understand my lacking and give me room for improvements.
Anyways, what do you think of my kiddo's vampire costume?

The Versatile Blogger Award

Hey everyone! Its been awhile since Ive shared something here in my blog...
I wanna thank Ira of Journal of Style  and Kay of Shoes and Glitters for the Versatile Blogger Award (TVBA) nomination. I know its has been weeks that past since I was nominated, but hey better late than never right? :D
What I like when participating in blogger nominations is that it gives you an opportunity to connect with your readers and get to know them by nominating them.
So here's seven random facts about me for you to get to know me better...

7 Random Facts About Me

  • Im a single mom to a smart boy.
  • I work at home as an administrative assistant.
  • When shopping, I knew what I want but I always end up undecided  and takes awhile to decide which is which.
  • I love watching teen movies, fantasy, sci-fi and romantic comedies. I dont watch horror or suspense movies and TV shows.
  • I love Korean pop and enjoys watching Korean TV series. Which eventually influence me a lot to like Korean foods and culture.
  • Unlike school days where I dont like class recitations. I enjoy sharing my blogging knowledge through workshops. I really miss the workshops that our local bloggers group, CDBloggers, use to organize.
  • This blog use to be after my online nickname, Venussmileygal, as well as my domain. I didnt have much any idea back then on some technical part of blogging. The domain was bought for me by a friend coz I dont have a Godaddy account. When its time for renewal of the domain he didnt bother renewing my domain and was bought by another who is very interested because my blog has a PageRank 3. I was so sad and almost stop blogging because of it. Good thing my blogging passion didnt die there and this blog was relaunch as Emotera Goddess. ^_^
