#Photography: Sunset
August 17, 2015
Just a quick post say thank you to my regular and new readers... I really appreciate all of you. Please do leave me a message on my comment box, so I can drop by and say hello to your blog and social account as well.
Today is actually a lazy day for me. I was supposed to schedule some blog post and share my weekend activities and outfit but I cant seem to create a post out of it.
Anyways, while cleaning some files on my PC I saw my sunset photographs. This sunset shot is taken a few weeks ago. One of the things I am thankful here at our home is that, this view that we see at our window. Yes... we have a beautiful cityscape or should I landscape view!
Me and my Nikon dslr are still on a getting to know each other level for quite a long, long time now. hahaha Shame on me! But I am kicking my butt every now and then to really maximize this camera and share some great photos here on my blog.
If your an expert on dslr camera, I would appreciate tips and tricks on how to learn and take good shots for outfits, food and whatever photo subjects. ;)
Question to end this post... Are you ready for the new weekday grind?

Thank you!. Which design do you mean?
DeleteVenus, lovely sunset shots. You asked advice to improve your dslr knowledge and I have found YouTube videos to be invaluable (like FroKnowsPhoto). I also had to take a couple of photography classes for my graphic design major. If you have a local community college, it's usually good curriculum for a reasonable price. I have discovered that the best way to learn is to play with the shutter speed, the F-stop, and the ISO in all different combinations. Also, try different times of day and shade and sun, etc. Get to know what you like or don't like. Reflectors are essential to cast away shadows, especially on your face if the sun is coming from behind. I do recommend a 50mm or 35mm lens so you can create blur for the background, or bokeh, with F-stops from 1.8 to 3.2 pretty easily. Again, I've done everything on a budget (college student, you know), so I get the bargain deals on Amazon or eBay (like my 50mm lens was only $200). I haven't spent money on special indoor lighting but hope to soon. That's essential for indoor photography. Hope this info helps :)
ReplyDeleteWish you the best and thanks for the nice comments on my blog ♥
