The Lovely Me: Ex Angle Skin Foundation

Just recently, I got interested in wearing light or just the natural everyday make-up that is not so thick but just for a natural which is perfect for everyday look. And from what I have watch on some online video tutorials, I learn that using liquid foundations is the trick for a all-day lasting make-up freshness and soft skin look.
So when a friend of mine traveled to Olongapo City for work, I asked favor to buy me a liquid foundation at The Face Shop since they don't have a branch here in Cagayan de Oro.
Wonder why from The Face Shop specifically? Will simply because I'm a self confess anything-Korean addict and it's what inspires me to put on make-up. :D

I was actually interested on the BB  cream liquid foundation but instead my friend bought this Lovely Me: Ex Angle Skin Foundation. At Php 395.00, it turns out a great buy! I like that its not greasy and so far my skin didn't get pimples after using.. Its one reason I don't usually put anything on my face because some products I used in the past gave me pimple after using. Aside from that it also smell good and really makes your skin feels so smooth. 
Last Wednesday, I had a pictorial and that's where I first wear the Lovely Me: Ex Angle Skin Foundation. Here's how it look right after putting it on with a light a make-up on...

The below is how I look after the 5 hours pictorial... Amazing right? I bet if I used the foundation powder it will no longer look like this smooth but rather dry and make-up fading already. And I would more likely do some retouch from time to time but instead with the liquid foundation I just had lipgloss retouch and that's it.

I know my face kinda look different from the first picture though its because of my eyebrow. I actually ask help at the studio because I don't know how to shape my eyebrow. Hopefully will learn on that soon too. Anyone willing to teach me? :D
Anyways, I haven't receive copies of my pictorials yet but will surely share it here when I have them. Im excited already!

Strike That Pose!

One thing Im not confident on taking photos of myself is striking a pose... I really admire people who pose fiercely! Its a thing that gives impact to a self or group photo even just by simply wearing a plain outfit. Take for example a blogger friend of mine who really strikes a fierce model pose every time the camera turns her way, even if she's in the crowd she would never fail draw everyone's attention because your like seeing a Miss Universe in the crowd of people. Earlier, this day I really told her I like the way she pose and she said yes because she  used to join beauty pageant way back when she's still young... Praktisado na! lol Kidding aside here is our pose....

So here's some tips I've researched online for my readers who are also having trouble posing on camera.

• Look for inspiration. For example, if your taking photos outside, you may see the sky and be inspired to look up as you are being photographed. Or sit on a tree limb or in a flower garden.
• Get a little creative. Start dancing around (if its appropriate at the time), or make a big doe-eyed expression. Don't limit yourself to a smile.
• Be Photogenic. Try some poses in the mirror. Determine your good side. Fold your arms, tilt your chin down, smile or keep a straight face, lift one eyebrow, or make a crazy face!

Unexpected Blessing

Just a few minutes ago I opened my Yahoomail to recover a password of my Twitter account. I rarely checked this email, only times like this that I need to log to recover/change a password on the social networks that is associated with this account. So since Im already log-in after the verification process in Twitter, I go on and checked emails one-by-one and delete those are not important. As I progress reading through and deleting 1 email caught my full attention and I actually read it a few times before I went checked my other Paypal account. I received a payment on one of the affiliate websites I sign-up before. I never really give much attention to it and after installing the banner on one of my blog (of which I rarely update) I just left it and never monitored. Imagine my surprise receiving an amount of which is really a big help for me now since boss has not sent salary yet. And I had so many bills waiting for me to pay. Wheew!
God indeed never leaves me alone. He never fails to remind me to be patient with everything, to always hope for the best and to be always thankful of what I have right now. Surprises will come on the right time... in the right place, just like today! :)
Thank you God! I was so surprised that I got so emotional. I am amazed at God's grace even if this isn't the first time that He has helped and blessed me specially in times when I want to break down.

I love weddings! And I do hope mine will come soon. ^_^

Nails In Sapphire And Lucky Red

I think it has to do with me having mani and pedi on the first day of the year 2012 that I don't missed a month that I don't treat my hand and foot into a nail spa. lol Crazy myths right?! Or should I say lame excuse. 

I usually just have my nails treated once a month. Another lame! ^^  Mostly I have a home service Manicurista that is just a text away but if she's not available I go to random Salons.

Next manicure will have something pink and stylish... Cant wait to use this up. This stamping nail art just recently arrive today which I purchase online.

Do you girls stick to one color only? Or like me you have a nail color of the month? And do you always match your hands and feet nail color? Coz to me I don't match them. ^^
