Taeyang's New Song: Seed [English Translation]

Taeyang released two new music video today. These are songs from his new album called, Down To Earth. I just love listening to his song titled Seed, its so melodic and has so much emotions in it.

Scream Queens

Anyone ready for the next big hit series on TV? This coming September 22 get ready for Queen Bee Emma Roberts, Glee diva Lea Michele, pop star Ariana Grande, original scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis, the hottie Nick Jonas, and a lot more stars in a new horror-comedy series. Scream Queens are from the same creator of Glee and American Horror Story.

Watch Scream Queens official trailer...

Wallace University is rocked by a string of murders. Kappa House, the most sought-after sorority for pledges, is ruled with an iron fist (in a pink glove) by its Queen B*tch, Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts). But when anti-Kappa Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) decrees that sorority pledging must be open to all students, and not just the school's silver-spooned elite, all hell is about to break loose, as a devil-clad killer begins wreaking havoc, claiming one victim, one episode at a time. Part black comedy, part slasher flick, Scream Queens is a modern take on the classic whodunit, in which every character has a motive for murder... Or could easily be the next blood-soaked casualty.

Scream Queens all-star cast includes...

  • Emma Roberts (Aquamarine, Nancy Drew, Wild Child, The Art of Getting By, We're The Millers, American Horror Story: Coven),
  • Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, True Lies, Prom Night,Terror Train, Freaky Friday)

A Day With John Lloyd Cruz

Biogesic brings John Lloyd Cruz in Cagayan de Oro to celebrate his 5 ingat years of success today. Luckily, I was one of the few bloggers who was invited to ask a few questions at the press conference at Marco Hotel, Cugman.
The question I've asked John Lloyd Cruz was... Who are the top 3 celebrities he wants to be his leading lady in a movie? At first he actually had difficulty answering it but after awhile he did mentioned Iza Calzado and Caridad Sanchez.

I'll be updating this post with more details on the event but right now I'm too excited to share a kilig video during the presscon... So without further ado here are the videos ...

And so this was the highlight... :D

Special thank to Biogesic and ABS CBN MagTV Na Ato Ni!

How Do you Keep Life Together Without Losing it?

I just saw this movie Trailer of "I Don't Know How She Does It" and I cant wait to watch it. Somehow I somewhat relate to the story. The story is a comedy centered on the life of Kate Reddy, a finance executive who is the breadwinner for her husband and two kids. Yeah, definitely like me but I only have 1 kid.

So the movie will be release on September 16, 2011. Starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Pierce Brosnan, Kelsey Grammer and directed by Douglas McGrath.

Korean Drama: 49 Days

Funny how at first I just disregard watching the Korean drama, 49 Days. Well maybe because after reading its synopsis I felt like its a fictional story and doesn't appeals me much. However, after seeing an advertisement on local TV that it will have a Filipino version, I gave it a try an downloaded it online. It turns out that it was a great Korean drama with a lot of life learning lessons on death and taking chances on life. The story is different from the usual Korean novela that I watched. I usually watched something humorous Korean drama because they would never fail to make me laugh out loud and feel good inside but 49 Days is far different since its a heavy drama. Yes, it has a lot of crying scenes but much more to that in this drama you learn to understand about pain, fate and love. After or even while watching 49 Days you will even stop and think of;

How good you live your life.
How many people is touch by your presence.
How much love you have give to the people around you.
The sincerity of tears people will shed for you.

In this drama you will also reflect two sides of living life. Either making the most of your everyday existence or chase death for an easy way out to skip the pain and loneliness. Pain will always be there if we dont learn to accept and let go. It may be hard but its the only way to put everything in place and let fate runs it course.

Live well. When times are hard, just like now recall those days that you treasure most. Gather your courage and live.

49 Days lead cast are Lee Yo Won, Nam Gyu Ri, Jo Hyeon Jae, Bae Su-bin, Jung Il Woo and Seo Ji Hye. I suggest you download the original Korean drama with English subtitles so that you will really understand the full run. Sometimes Filipino versions has some cut scenes. And for info 49 Days is titled Pure Love in the Philippines.

10 Things I Hate About You

I really love the movie "10 Things I Hate About You". I never grow tired watching this movie over and over again. I also love the part when Julia Stiles read her poem. So here I want to share that part as well as the copy of the poem. I hope you will enjoy it!

I hate the way you talk to me,
and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots
and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
it even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you're always right,
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you're not around,
and the fact that you didn't call.
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you,
not even close,
not even a little bit,
not even at all.
