What I Wore | Twinset Ribbed Sweater & Knitted Skirt

I just realized that its been awhile since Ive posted and outfit post. So today I'll be sharing one...

I actually have lots of outfit post seating in my hard drive and Im so overwhelm which one to share first here in the blog. I've been a lazy blogger. >.<

Anyways, this outfit Im sharing now is the one I've reviewed in this post, few months ago, from SammyDress.com. I just thought its the perfect time to share this look now because I'm wishful thinking of colder Ber months in a our tropical country. I really love this knitted twinset and this is a perfect cozy outfit for cold days.
For now though, I've worn casually the knitted skirt but unfortunately not the ribbed sweater because of its thick texture.

How was weekend? I hope you had a great time. As for me, I just spent it at home resting err.. getting cozy in my bed mostly. Well, the cold and rainy weather gave me an excuse to do so... :D

Last week, Mr. Postman delivered my package at home. You know I get so pleased when they does this because most of the time I am the one who's marching at the Postal Office and gets to be forwarded to every parcel windows just to find my package. 

How I wish our Postal Office system will improve and digitally upgraded their system so that mails and package will be organized and easily dispatched to the recipient. 

Although it takes a while for the package to arrive, I don't mind it anymore. Or should I say I got use to it  already because of most of my package usually takes atleast a month to arrive (except for expedited shipping ofcourse). I think it has to do with our countries custom clearance because its ridiculous for either plane or boat to takes weeks to arrive. To think custom charges are so big per parcel when you claim it. (>.<)
Anyways, so what's inside?
It's dresses from my latest online shopping spree at SammyDress.com. I am so please with the dresses I have ordered they are in good quality. 

The first one is this cami dress which is the newest fave in my closet. I ordered it in medium size and it fits perfectly. The embroidery details of this dress is so pretty. And the cloth  material is cotton blend.
The second dress is a short sleeves printed dress. It's available in one size and it fits great to me as well. The cloth material is polyester. With its cheap price, I didn't expect much but it's still a pretty dress.

For their costumer service, it may take days for them to respond but they do respond politely.

Theme of The Year: #Invest2016

Hello there midweek! How was your week going on so far?

Since the year Ive read Bianca Gonzales' article about Theme of the Year Ive  been using it since then. So instead of writing new year resolutions that I would probably not achieve by the end of the year, I set a theme to guide me for the whole year. My previous themes so far, has helped me to stay on track on what I wanted to achieve and experience for the whole year.  

Last year, I ended having the theme #Travel2015. So Im pursuing the theme #Invest2016 this year. This year will be all about savings and investment. I already have several investment in mind so wish me luck that I shall succeed it and achieve it.
My investment will not be solely about money. It will also be with things and actions that I believe will be vital for myself and my families future.
Have you think of a theme for yourself this year?

What I Wore | Floral Dress

Happy weekend everyone!

You probably have an idea about today's outfit post... As I mentioned in my previous post about Apartment 8 Cagayan de Oro Branch Opening, that I didnt miss the chance to take my outfit of the day at a very photo worthy spot in the Santorini themed store. 

Do you feel the Santorini vibe? 

Im not sure if my outfit fits the Santorini themed though... I am just excited to wear this floral dress that I got from LightInTheBox.com. This dress along with the maxi skirt you see in this outfit post here arrived last September 23, 2015. I am obviously loving the items that I immediately wear them. 

I actually didnt expect much when I order this dress because of its cheap price and I am not sure on the cloth. However, when it arrived I was very happy to discover how comfortable and in good quality the dress is. My mom love it as well!

I have been so blessed this past few months that all I have is gratitude to everyone and everything. Although with all this blessings comes responsibilities and busyness, I embrace it with so much positivity and inspiration. I always think that if I work hard and give my best more and more blessings will come my way. Each day Ive learned to let go of the worries and stress. As well as, embracing everything with positivity little by little can go a long way. 

Thoughts to ponder:

If you worry a lot, then day after day you are learning how to worry even better. 

If you think about doing something a lot, then you are learning how to think about doing. 

Every moment you are happy, you are learning how to be even happier. 

Every time you act, you are learning how to take an action even better.

What I Wore | Asymmetrical Hem Paillette Dress

#FlashbackFriday when my hair is brown and Im sporting a bangs.

Today I am sharing some throwback outfit I was not able to blog...

I wore this during my son's graduation ceremony.

Remembering what happen on that day makes me laugh at myself... On how I was still able to take outfit shots.  Which by the way was taken by my son (Excuse the proud mom spazzing. :D).

I was actually not feeling well on this day, so un-timely for my stomach spasms to attack. I really thought I wont be able to make it because when times like this that my stomach spasm happens I need to stay at home and rest. Not to mention on that day its the worst coz I had several trips to the bathroom. 

However, watching the excited face of my son turned into a worried face, then into a sad face after discovering I am not feeling well, gives me strength to feel better as soon as possible. 

Thank God for an answered prayer, felt a bit better. And we were able to attend the ceremony. After that we went home, rested for awhile and has manage to grabbed a dinner celebration at a restaurant nearby.

Being a single mom may not be easy.... You need to be strong and a fighter all the time. You need to be a positive thinker all the time, to attract positive things and miracles specially on days like this that your child's happiness is at stake. However, its all worth it and rewarding when you see your child grow up to be happy, kind, caring and educated. 

So much for a sentimental way of ending the week...

What I Wore| White Dress & Mid-Calf Boots

Blogged earlier on Zee and Aya's wedding... Here's what I wore on that day.

The themed of the wedding was bohemian. And the motiff is green and champagne. 

The bride requested for a non-white dress for guest on the last minute. However, Dee and I just arrived from our Bohol escape and we dont have much time to shop for something green bohemian outfit. You know girls... need atleast weeks, or worst, months to prepare for something to wear on special occasions. ^_^
So we both ended wearing white dresses. I  settled for my white dress with lace and crochet details. Not bad since its so boho! This is what I originally plan to wear until the bride's request... that is. I was able to spot this green vest so I added it up to atleast have something green on my outfit. I actually taught of it as clever thing... but still the bride was still upset on me and Dee's as well as Risa's major white outfits weeks after the wedding. (facepalm) hahaha Sorry again Zee!

I owned this dress in awhile and I had only worn it once. I bought it at a thrifted shop. Talking about being a hunter. ;)

The mid-calf boots is my latest addition to my boots babies. It arrive last month, ordered it online.

Chunky Heel

I attended a free flash photography workshop at Centrio Mall. After the photography workshop I strolled around the mall all by myself and then went for a grocery trip after. I wore for the first time the camel ankle boots that I purchased online at SammyDress.com. What I love most on this boots is that even if it has a 4 inches high heel its super comfortable. I lasted wearing those boots. I just felt a little bit of pain in my legs of which was a sign for me to go home. Imagine, wearing that high heeled boots and walking for hours! Poor feet!

Today's one of those days when I wake up feeling tired or should I say stress from problems, but ended feeling blessed by the end of the day. Since I'm stuck with no solution to my problem I shrug it off, continue on daily routine and trust I'll find solutions along the way... Im so glad I did with an added bonus that made me smile.

The leather ankle boots that I ordered at SammyDress.com last December arrived today at the Post Office and they message me earlier to pick it up. Wohhooo! This is my second attempt in purchasing shoes online the first one is from Romwe of which was successful and now this one from Sammy Dress. There are lots to choose from but why shoes on my initial order? I just cant resist ordering the boots from SammyDress because there are a lot of affordable and stylish boots. And you know I cant resist boots specially if the style is not yet on my collections. ^_^

Locally my shoe size is 6 but I ordered size 37 on SammyDress.com. Which was just the right size, no more no less. The quality is good, no flaws. Though there was a  little tear strip on the side of the package probably someone wants to get a peek on its contents. Good thing though the box is thick.
