Gradient Maxi Skirt

I'm inlove with maxi skirts! Ironic because before I'm always seen wearing short skirts. :D Guess, your fashion sense change as you grow
old. I do still love seeing other girls wearing short skirts and get attracted with short skirts at stores. However, its been long time since I wear short skirts and Im more excited to spend on maxi skirt and take more time thinking should I buy or not on short skirts. I guess my fashion style did changed, but im not yet ready to let go on my precious shorts skirts. :(

A lot of people love this gradient maxi skirt including myself.  Both the top and maxi skirt are bought at a thrifted shop. When it comes to shopping I consider myself lucky, because all the favorite clothes in my closet so far are bought at a very low price and/or discounted price. ^_^

National Bookstore Project Aral

Back to school is fast approaching!

My kiddo is officially enrolled and ready for the next school year. What's lacking though is the books and uniform but I'll worry on that later since school haven't started yet. Next stop is buying school supplies. It was very helpful that his teacher has already listed all the school supplies he needs at school coz it saves the time and money on shopping.

Watsons Sale

I love it when Watsons has sale promos because I can save on some beauty necessities. Too bad though I didn't get to buy that flat and hair straightener which was on buy 1, take 1. If only I knew, if only I had the money. It would have been a huge saving and then I could just sell the free one. Previously, Bang and I was able to save a lot on the hair blower which was offered buy 1, take 1 also at Watsons.

Anyways, in this sale the items that I bought are wet tissues and hair brush.

I always buy Watsons wet tissue because it so handy and affordable. Bought this for buy 2, take 1.The hair brush, on the other hand, is in 30% off. Ive been planning to buy a durable hair brush and this sale gave me the chance to get it. It was really a huge saving.

SunKissAlba Gets Beyonce’s Look

Wow I loved the finished product, but let me tell you, she is a natural beauty. She look so freaky gorgeous without make up. Learn how James Vincent achieves Beyonce’s glamorous makeup look on SunKissAlba.

Makeup tips for a Beyonce look:

• Color correct under your eyes with peach, coral or orange. For darker skin, use orange to balance out blue tones.


• Contour with taupe eyeshadow or blush right below the cheek bone.


• Bring black liner along lash line.


• Use some shine or shimmer in a metallic eyeshadow to bring some lift to the smokey eyeliner.


• Cut faux lashes into three sections and apply with a tiny amount of glue.


• Finish off with gloss.

Tips to straight that curly hair and achieve the Beyonce’s look.

• Wet your hair down.


• If your hair is curly, blow out the curl to give a smooth finish. Use a round hair brush with a lot of tension, and blow your hair straight.


• Add in some curl with hairspray. Use a ¾” inch curling iron, starting at the bottom of the hair, working to the top.


• Pin each curl to the scalp and let cool.


• Once cool, spray with hairspray, and brush out.

Nail polishing tips:

• File, shape and buff your nails.


• Apply oil to the cuticles.


• Use bronze and gold polishes to blend the perfect metallic look.


• Enhance the polish with different sizes and shapes of gold glitter at the tips of the nail (apply with a thin paint brush).


• Seal with a glossy top coat

This was a surprise actually because the package arrives in 9 days! Usually it takes 30 days shipping. Romwe.com didn't just revamped their website and payment method but as well as the shipping.

Love the quality of the clothes. The printed shirt is soft and just the perfect fit. And I love the hoodie. Its thick and comfy, really perfect for cold weather I guess I wont be wearing this one much but Im excited to wear it in the cold weather. The distressed leggings on the other hand, is also in great quality.

Flash - "Let there be light" Photography Workshop

Attended the free photography workshop that hosted by Colours Digital Foto last March 15 at Centrio Mall. It was limited to 100 registrant at first but due to the demand they increased Workshop slots to 300. I was able to register online when the in-store registration was already close. There a lot of photographers joined the actual event. And the good thing the workshop is that it was open for everyone even for a newbie like me. And I must say I learned a lot from the pro's although there are some topics Im having hard time to comprehend. Basically the workshop is all about the benefits in using flash photography. It was handy for me because I dont used much my flash because I was relying on the built-in flash in my DSLR camera.

They invited 3 great photographer in Philippines as speakers...
