What I Wore | Knitted Top and High Waist Denim Skirt

Hey everyone! How was your weekend?
As for me, it was a weekend well spent.
I just started watching Hart of Dixie and really getting hooked on it. So this TV show just ended its last season this March 2015 and I just learned that there will be no season 5. And that rumors has it that in season 4 the episodes not getting interesting. Im still far away though, Im still in season 1. And since I am still very interested in it, will see.
I just love Rachel Bilson in this TV show. She's drop-dead gorgeous. I also love her outfits, so chic!
Anyone of you watched Hart of Dixie too?
Now, about my outfit... Talking about denim being never out of style. This high waist skirt has been mine from college days. And that's more than 10 years ago... And it still fits me?! Wow!  I remember buying this with my girl friend... Risa. We both have the same skirt, you know that matchy-matchy fashion we do with our besties. ;D
On my top, I also shop this with my other besties... Dee has her fave pink knitted top while I have it my fave color, blue. ^_^
Do you also shop matching clothes with your friends?

How was your week so far?
My week started with laziness.
Ive been trying to post here on my blog since last weekend but cant find the words to say. Even the simplest one. (>.<)
So today, amidst laziness and painful menstruation I tried my best to compose a blog post...
Here's an outfit I wore when my friends and I went out for a new restaurant discovery here in Cagayan de Oro. We check out Macey's Cafe which is a cool place to hangout... I'll share more about this place on the next post... Lets talk about the outfit for now.
The crop top was a birthday gift to me by my pretty friend... Risa. My girls really spoils me with gifts that are definitely my fashion fave. Lucky me!
If you notice, this are one of the rare moments of me in jeans err... in jeggings now, so to speak. Was inspired to wear jeans because of my new edgy boots that arrived just recently from DressLink.com. It has been my new fave since it arrive.

Dresslink Biker Boots
With its cheap price of 7.14 USD I didnt expect much. I picked this boots because I have been wanting to have one and was convince by the great reviews it receive from others who bought it as well. This review page really helps a lot specially if there is photos included. I even got one size up than my normal shoe size as per the advice in the reviews and they were right because what I have now fit just right with a little space allowance for my feet to breath. If I ordered in my normal size it would have been uncomfortable because it'll be too small. The quality is good, no smell. It has a fur lining from inside, which is very soft and the leather is also very soft. Overall its a worth it buy!
Have your tried ordering at DressLink.com as well?

What I Wore | Floral Dress

Happy weekend everyone!
You probably have an idea about today's outfit post... As I mentioned in my previous post about Apartment 8 Cagayan de Oro Branch Openingthat I didnt miss the chance to take my outfit of the day at a very photo worthy spot in the Santorini themed store.
Do you feel the Santorini vibe?
Im not sure if my outfit fits the Santorini themed though... I am just excited to wear this floral dress that I got from LightInTheBox.com. This dress along with the maxi skirt you see in this outfit post here arrived last September 23, 2015. I am obviously loving the items that I immediately wear them.
I actually didnt expect much when I order this dress because of its cheap price and I am not sure on the cloth. However, when it arrived I was very happy to discover how comfortable and in good quality the dress is. My mom love it as well!
I have been so blessed this past few months that all I have is gratitude to everyone and everything. Although with all this blessings comes responsibilities and busyness, I embrace it with so much positivity and inspiration. I always think that if I work hard and give my best more and more blessings will come my way. Each day Ive learned to let go of the worries and stress. As well as, embracing everything with positivity little by little can go a long way.
Thoughts to ponder:
If you worry a lot, then day after day you are learning how to worry even better.
If you think about doing something a lot, then you are learning how to think about doing.
Every moment you are happy, you are learning how to be even happier.
Every time you act, you are learning how to take an action even better.
What is it that you've been learning today?
What is it that you want to learn tomorrow?

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

What I Wore | Rayon Fabric Dress

Happy Tuesday!
First of all I wanna send my warmest gratitude for the birthday wishes and greetings. Im as well glad that a lot of you like my turtle neck top and maxi skirt outfit. ^_^
On today's post I am sharing my outfit from last weeks event. The Samsung Happy Home Roadshow which happened at Limketkai Center. It was such a unique event because they did a drama showcasing newest Samsung appliances.
Now back to the outfit, this is such a comfy casual dress. I love clothes with rayon fabric because its flowy and flattering works best in our tropical country. Also if you have been reading my blog for a while now, you may notice the kind of prints on my clothes; aztec and jacquards. This prints really attracts me easily.
Notice my not so lovely hair? I seriously need a visit at the salon. I am thinking of changing my hair color and cutting it short but having troubles on what style.
Do you have any hairstyle suggestion that will suits me best?

Happy weekend everyone!
Just celebrated my 30th birthday yesterday. Since few days ago until now I'm having mixed emotions... I didn't expect I'd feel this way. This must be what they say 30th blues... One more birthday and I'm out of the calendar... :D
I usually don't make fuss on my birthdays, in fact I don't celebrate it. Growing up, I have never ever experience having a birthday party, most of the time this day just past by like most ordinary days. I appreciate few people who remember this day without any notifications from Facebook. Call it overacting but its the main reason I turned off my Facebook birthday notification so that I will know who genuinely remembers me on this day. Since I turned it off I did see a big difference, only a handful remembers my birthday. Only the closest of the closest, even the relatives and friends whom I've expected to remember didn't remember until they see others greeted me. Yes I know, I am such a sentimental person. ^_^
Anyways, on to my outfit... I am wearing my fave turtle neck top. I just love the cloth of this top which matches very well with my new maxi skirt from LightintheBox.com. This combo just scream comfort!
I have been eyeing this maxi skirt for quite a long time already from other online store but only this time I finally have it. It was so worth it. Its not thick and not too thin, very flowy and comfortable.
Tip: Its sold in one size only and its a bit too tight on my waistline, I'm size 28 by the way. So just a heads up to anyone interested on this skirt.
The aztec duffle bag is my another new fave. I bought it at SM Department Store at a sale price last month.  I really like it because I can put everything on it. Perfect when I work outside coz my 15" laptop fits on it.
Lastly, the dream catcher necklace... I bought it when we went to Bohol last summer.
What do you think about this look?
Have you tried online shopping at LightintheBox.com?

What I Wore | Crop Top & Denim Jumper Short

Hello Thursday!
One day more and its finally weekend. Today is of those days that I am feeling lazy. I have a lot of cravings foodtrip, window shopping, grocery and so many activities... Yet here I am, in front of the computer and stuck in my chair. Still finishing tasks at work which took too long to finish even if its the simpliest one... Dont you just hate days like this?! (>.<)
How do you cope up when you feel lazy? Would love to hear from you...
Now on to the outfit. Here's another attempt to wear crop top. This time Im showcasing my nowhere-to-be-find abs. :D And then paired it with a denim jumper shorts to cover my belly.

What I Wore | Asymmetrical Hem Paillette Dress

#FlashbackFriday when my hair is brown and Im sporting a bangs.
Today I am sharing some throwback outfit I was not able to blog...
I wore this during my son's graduation ceremony.
Remembering what happen on that day makes me laugh at myself... On how I was still able to take outfit shots.  Which by the way was taken by my son (Excuse the proud mom spazzing. :D).
I was actually not feeling well on this day, so un-timely for my stomach spasms to attack. I really thought I wont be able to make it because when times like this that my stomach spasm happens I need to stay at home and rest. Not to mention on that day its the worst coz I had several trips to the bathroom.
However, watching the excited face of my son turned into a worried face, then into a sad face after discovering I am not feeling well, gives me strength to feel better as soon as possible.
Thank God for an answered prayer, felt a bit better. And we were able to attend the ceremony. After that we went home, rested for awhile and has manage to grabbed a dinner celebration at a restaurant nearby.
Being a single mom may not be easy.... You need to be strong and a fighter all the time. You need to be a positive thinker all the time, to attract positive things and miracles specially on days like this that your child's happiness is at stake. However, its all worth it and rewarding when you see your child grow up to be happy, kind, caring and educated.
So much for a sentimental way of ending the week...
Enjoy the weekend!

What I Wore | Long-Sleeve Top, Skirt, Boots & Denim Jacket

Happy Midweek!
Today Im sharing my outfit from last Saturday's Snoe Selfie Beauty Makeup Workshop.
After the workshop I went out with my girlfriends for a movie #Saturdate. I apologize for the faded make-up because I almost forgot to take an outfit shot. So this happens while waiting for our super late dinner.
Im wearing a long-sleeve top, skirt, boots and a denim jacket. I really like wearing this type of long-sleeves which I bought from Chili Girl Boutique because its not thick so if weather suddenly changes I wont suffer from it.
Finally rain is here!
Was actually puzzled by the news because it says El Niño is happening this month but rainy season has yet started here in our city...
Anyways, I am very glad and thankful that rainy days are finally here because the hot weather is so driving me crazy...

What I Wore | Crop Top & High-Waisted

Hey y'all! How was your weekend so far?
Here in our city we're having a long weekend...
This week was yet another busy week for me. Had so much in my plate from kiddos birthday, new tasks at work and job offers popping... But who am I to complain, this busyness are blessings!
By the way, sending kisses and hugs to those who shared their comments and appreciation on my previous post... The Sisterhood of the World Blogger Award.  It was such heart warming reading your comments even though that post was kinda long. :D
So today will be sharing something short... My outfit!
I honestly love seeing crop top outfits but Im not confident wearing them myself. Major reason?! My tummy is not sexy enough to be flaunted... (>.<)
Big thanks to the person who invented high-waisted shorts because this give me a reason to pair it with my crop top without worrying about showing my belly skin. I was able to wear this crop top that was given to me as a gift on my birthday last year.
So what do you think of this outfit?
Are you a fan of the cropped trend? If yes, how do you style your crop tops?

What I Wore | Muscle Shirt and Maxi Side-Slit Skirt

How was your week so far? Mine is too busy but blessed at the same time...
I apologize if I haven't replied much to your comments... Sending hugs and kisses for the compliments I received, through your comment, on my previous post about my sunset photography. Thank you also for those who drop some tips on photography. ^_^
Shout out to Zarrah of Bandwagon Chic for the Sisterhood of the World Blogger Award. Watch out for my post soon!
I am sharing my outfit from last weeks mid-week chill with my friend. We visited this unique cafe called Capricho Art Cafe. Will share more about the cafe on my next post.
For now I will talk about my outfit...
I have previously mention that I am a fan of muscle shirts specially if they are statement shirt. So even if its in white I bought a lot of different version (or rather different version of statement) of this shirt.  As for the maxi skirt, it originally didnt have a slit on both sides. However, after wearing it a few times I realized that its style limits my walking... or should I say running?! hahaha Anyway, it wasn't that bad though but I just felt more free and relax with the slits.
Too bad though I was not able to showcase the double side-slit in this pictorial but here's another one I posted on instagram.

What I Wore | Button-Down Shirt & Skirt Pants

Midweek Madness!
It's amazing how fast time flies by and you don't even realize it. Just last Sunday I was not ready to welcome Monday but its funny how Wednesday came unnoticed, until my friend asked for a midweek chill.
My closest friends and I has online jobs and so we take weekend and midweek seriously to disconnect to technology and stress.  That's Wednesday and Saturday out and about anywhere in the city. However, most of it spent at malls. :D
It's the time where we channel our inner fashionista and coffee/tea addicts. It's  our time to vent out problems and frustration, laugh with/without any reasons, encourage and discourage decisions... hehehe that's what we are!
We usually just shop, stroll, eat and chat. A lot of things really happened and most of them are unplanned.
On today's post, I am sharing an outfit on one of our midweek chill few weeks back. While looking forward of our midweek chill later... Printed button-down shirt and white skirt pants. Forgot to take a photo of the back view for the shorts... really its shorts. The gladiator shoes is new... I impulsively bought it on that day and wore it immediately... and the days after. hahaha I am not obviously loving it, arent I?
This day only two of us bond. And me and my best buddy accidentally wore matching outfits in black and white theme. We didn't even plan it. ^_^
What's your usual bonding with your friends?
Do you do midweek chill/break too?
