How was the weekend? I had a fun weekend spent with friends. The kiddo also had a shopping spree at the newly opened H & M store here in our city. ^_^

Today, Im going to share the Converse new collections for Fall/Holiday 2016. They've just launch the Converse Counter Climate Footwear Collection. A very exciting line of shoes and essentials that are intended to stand up against the unpredictable weather that we are having.

Converse Cons One Star Shield Canvas

This season, the Converse Cons Star also receives the Shield Canvas treatment, combining the enhanced comfort of a Lunarlon sockliner with a lightweight and breathable canvas that can also withstand the rain. Weekend Plans: Trick or Treat

Hey everyone! Anyone excited for the weekend? 

I just realized, while writing this post, that there's a lot of things I look forward for this weekend. Halloween and long weekend to name a few... ^_^

Will spend trick or treat at the mall with the kiddo. And will also checkout the Dinosaur Expo. A friend of mine, Risa, is going to baptize her daughter Alexa this weekend also and I am going to be one of the godmothers.

What I Wore:

I bought this dress when Guess boutique had a big sale. I forgot how much was the cost, but I remembered, I got 70% discount on this dress as well as on a skirt  that I bought too. Me and my friend have no plans on shopping that time. We were about to go home when another friend, who just had shopping at Guess, inform us about the big sale. Glad we didn't missed the chance because it was such a fabulous deal.

Im not sure, if I've previously talked about this gorgeous cardigan from Newchic.com but you may have read this as one on my stylish cardigan wishlist. I love it's waterfall style and the aztec print, so stylishly chic!

Halloween Costumes and Accessories

Hi everyone! Happy weekend y'all! 

This past few weeks has been so busy. So many challenges I have encountered, that work are pilling up and Im still catching up until this weekend. 

Whats worse is that, I have this constant headache that keeps on bothering me. Is this stress? What can you recommend to remedy this? Do feel free to shoot me some suggestions on the comments below. Would really appreciate it.

So Im having a full weekend. Aside from workload I have a wedding and Christening (I am going to be godmother to another beautiful angel) that Im attending. 

I'll be heading to a cousins wedding in a few hours now... And before I go I thought writing an update here in my blog since Im in the mood to do so... Grabbing the chance while my mind is in the works. ^_^

I've shared a post previously on ideas for casual Halloween outfits you can wear on a Halloween parties. This time I'll be sharing costumes that I would love to wear. The first one is a nurse I actually find it more of a plane stewardess but whatever its so stunning. The next is the bat costume which is really cute. My son said he can wear it too and scare kids in the neighborhood. Naughty kid! Now for the rest the costume are the witch costume, goddess Athena, Egyptian queen, and Goldilocks.

Casual Halloween Outfits

Hi everyone! 

Halloween is just around the corner. Im sure you will be attending a Halloween party or events. As for me I dont have any plans yet but the kiddo has been begging to attend a Halloween costume party like we did last year. So i'll company him   

In today's post, I'm sharing some casual dresses that are usually found in our closet that can be a great Halloween costume. So even if your lazy dressing up for a Halloween party you still fit in and has a character to represent. ;)
1. Morticia Addams - I know plain black long maxi dress is more appropriate but when I saw this dress I just thought its a gorgeous alternative costume for Morticia. It's so stunningly sexy dress.
2. Wednesday Addams - Ofcourse I will not forget Morticia's daughter, Wednesday. If you have a black dress just like this sweater dress, just add plain black or black & white stripes stockings or jeggings will do too. And then just braid your hair in half.
3. Doll - I love flare dresses specially with beautiful embroidery details. So if you have lot of them in your closet worry no more you can pegged as a doll. You can match it with white socks and fancy heels or boots. Alternatively, lace dresses can be a great doll costume too. 
4. Witch - I know everyone has LBD (little black dress) in their closet. So this can be a great Halloween costume... Grab your pointy black hat and broom and your off to fly wickedly. 
5. Goddess/Ghost - Now white maxi dresses can be a great Halloween costume too. You can be Sadaku and just let your long hair cover your face. Or you can go all glamorous and be as Athena, by adding a red scarf hang loss in the left shoulder, gold belt, and a gold headdress.
6. Angel - I am not sure if everyone has a wing white dress but if you do will thats an easy angel costume. However, for those who have lots of sexy white dresses you can make use of it and grab some wings and a halo.

Is Your Life A Best Seller Webtoon?

If your life was a webtoon will it be a best seller one?

Before anything else... Hello there! Happy hump day!

Yes. I admit this post was inspired from the Korean drama, W. ^_^

This question just popped in my mind while watching the drama... I commend the writer for such a mind-bogglingly twists in every episodes. Even though it made the drama interesting, I almost give-up at episode 5... I think or somewhere there. :D Not that its a bad drama, its just that my brain was aching trying to figure out the drama. I have so many why and how. hahaha
And I was watching drama while working with my online job, to entertain me... However, the drama added more stressful thinking. That is why I almost give-up. XD
Good thing I didn't stop watching it because it was amazing and exciting in the end.

By the way, for those of you who haven't watch and interested to watch this Korean drama... I watch it here.

Now back to the question... 

If my life was a webtoon will it be a best seller? 

Or atleast interesting? 

Or will anyone bother to read it?

To be honest, my life now is not really exciting and just plainly routinary.

That is in comparison to my  past life which definitely has it's own taste of bitter-sweet dramas. My past has so many ups and downs, struggles, disappointments, heart-breaks and challenging twist that thought me a lot of my life's greatest lessons. If anyone reading my life story I bet they would learned a lot just as I did.

My past made me a strong and thriving woman that I am today.

Made me appreciate everything that I have now.

Made me grateful everyday, for every blessings and miracles in my life now.

Nobody would probably bother reading my life now if its a webtoon.

But no matter how boring my life now. I am thinking positively that soon a romantic comedy will soon unfold. And I'm excited because that's my fave genre. <3 p="">

And even though in reality a happy ending is non-existent... (Because for me... as long we are alive the chapters of the book of our life goes on and the journey continues. And so possibilities are still endless.) I still believe that there is no reason for us to lose hope, if our life story is a best seller or not. As long as we wake up each day, we have the chance to recreate our life, make it more exciting in a positive way and also make it the best selling story.

Happiness is just around the corner easily given to those who are willing to receive and share.

Hello September!

​Hi everyone! Im happy because its a long weekend. 

August left with a bang, as I receive several part-time job offers. Which left the first weeks of September very busy. I may not be earning big but I just felt so blessed being paid working on things that I love doing and having cool bosses to work with. And the bonus part is that I own my time and I can work anywhere I want.  

Talking about owning my time... my friend and I had an unplanned date this week. We just started with an "I miss you" conversation on Skype and the next thing happened is that where strolling at the mall together. We had so much fun catching up, eating, and shopping for there was an on going sale at the mall we happen to visit.
We really miss doing this dates. Since we rarely see each other nowadays, because my friends are now new moms and spends more time with their cutey babies. Infact, while me and friend had our date her baby's third wheeling with us. Which made it more fun and exciting because we got new experiences more than just eating, talking, and shopping together. 

Ofcourse I didn't miss the chance for her to take a snap of my outfit... I wore the new cami dress which I got from Sammydress.com. The dress is so chic and comfy. I just love wearing it. If you follow me on instagram (@venussmileygal) you probably see it on my feed a lot. 😆

Inlove with Maxis and Side Slit

Happy Monday!

Today marks the end of the long weekend. It's back to school tomorrow so I'll be waking up early to take care of the kiddo's needs.

The kiddo's birthday last Saturday was fun and tiring at the same time. The city is celebrating its annual Higalaay Festival. So many people in malls and everywhere in the city because of so many events happening. It's crowded and traffic. (>.<) 

I don't know when this all started but I seem to enjoy quite places and/or places with limited people around. I'm no longer use to dealing with crowds. Even with friends Im connected to just a few...

If I hadn't promise the kiddo I wouldn't have go out. Anyways, it was his birthday wish. And it was worth it because he had fun. Ive granted all that he wanted to do on that day from catching Pokemons, to eating at his fave restaurant, as well as playing at the arcade (which gave me muscle aches the day after.)  

What touches me the most, is that with all those activities we did he always asked me if I enjoyed it as well. My heart melts...Such a sweet kid! It's his birthday but his thinking of me.

Chic and Cheap Outerwears from EricDress

Finally its weekend!

What's your plan for the weekend? As for me I'll be busy pampering the kiddo coz its his birthday. Will be granting his wish and go Pokemon hunting at the mall as he requested. :D

Anyways, today on the blog I’ll be sharing chic outerwears that I would like to add in my closet since fall season is around the corner.

I’ve mentioned this in my previous post that I have low tolerance with cold air and so I always make sure to bring cardigans or long sleeve outerwear in my bag whenever I go out. It’s very useful when I am in high air-conditioned places or when I go home late in the evening where air is colder.

You will notice that most of this are not really thick and most cloth materials are either polyester or cotton, just so it will be handy to carry anytime.

Tomato Swap Watch

Hi there! How was weekend so far?

This week was not so good for me. For some reason, I suddenly felt not good and sad. I just cant concentrate at work. And so last Thursday, I went strolling to the mall to atleast entertain myself and get rid of those bad feeling.

The original plan was to go on food trip. I was so ready for food hopping but after my first stop the next thing I did was shopping for shoes and watch. I forgot about the food trip... all my time was spent shopping. I did felt better after. hehe

So this Swap Watch catch my attention at the Tomato Time kiosk. What really stands out with this watches is that you can design them with your own taste. You select the style of strap and the design of the watch face that goes with it.

Swap watches have a hypoallergenic silicone strap, stainless steel case back, and water resistant up to 3 meters in fresh water. The watch comes with a one year warranty on its Japan made mechanism.

The prices of the watch and the strap varies for every design. As for mine the watch face was Php 600.00 (12 usd) and the strap is Php 650.00 (13 usd).
I am thinking of getting another design on the face so I can have many options to match with my outfit and mood of the day. ;)
