The Lipstick For Me!

During my fabulous day at the Etude House Centrio Mall opening I have mentioned that I found the perfect lip color for my lips. I was not able to buy it actually because I was in a hurry that time. So when I pass by at Etude House in Mall of Asia, during my Manila escape, I didn't miss the chance to buy a lipstick at Etude House. And my cousin also shop for her own make-ups...

Here's what we shop:
  • Look At My Lips  (328.00)
  • Sweet Nail Sticker (178.00)
  • Dear My Blooming Lips Talk (478.00)
  • Dear My Blooming Cheek (548.00)
  • Proof 10 Liquid Liner (498.00)
  • Oh-M Eye Lash (Volume & Longlash)(198.00)
  • Oh-M Eye Lash (Petticoat)(198.00)
We also received a freebie from our purchase! Since we reached the amount of Php 2000 we got the pink water container and we also received a Pepero in celebration of Pepero Day in Korea.
The lipstick I bought is the Look At My Lips pink and here is how it look...
Me wearing the Look At My Lips pink lipstick without flash...
And here's another picture of me wearing the lipstick with flash.

What I like about the lipstick is that it match perfectly on any make-ups Im wearing. I also like that it easily spread evenly on the lips without using a lip brush. It also last longer. One thing I also worry when buying lipsticks is that I usually have problems with chapped lips after wearing it, good thing with this lipstick so far I haven't experience it.

Rurouni Kenshin For the Second Time

Rurouni Kenishin (Live Action) is way to perfect that everyone cannot just watch it just once. The movie is already a blockbuster on every country and the continuous request for extendedly screening is overflowing.  Thank God Philippines is one of the few countries who are given a chance to watch it the soonest this year and has been given extended showing. Since I know for a fact that there are some countries are still requesting for the movie to be shown on their Cinemas. ^_^
Here in the Philippines, the movie has already been extended twice at SM Cinemas nationwide. A lot others more are wanting to watch it and some others still cant get over with the movie like me. Today was said to be the last day of showing, so I tag along my cousin to watch it again for the last time for me and for the first time for her. :D
We first grab our dinner at Classic Savory SM before watching the movie. Thanks to cousin for the treat! Both my cousin and I are first timers to dine at Classic Savory. Since I already heard about the their specialty of the house which is grilled chicken we ordered a Combo meal for 2. The Combo meal, which can either be good for 1 or 2, is served with 2 drinks a half size grilled chicken, Toron, pancit and Salt & Pepper Squid. I love the Salt & Pepper Squid its to die for... The pancit also has a good taste. And the grilled chicken... well my cousin said it was good and I do agree too, the gravy also taste good but we really have not consume it cause you can eat the chicken without the gravy.
I got curious on the pictures of soups displayed on our table, so I ordered the corn soup which is sold at Php 35.00 as an add-on on your meals. Its my additional fave at Classic Savory I must say.

I originally plan to watch the movie at 3:15 PM schedule but my cousin has some things to do so we ended buying the last full show schedule which is at 9:00 PM. ^_^
And this is how I say goodbye to Rurouni Kenshin... Wish there will be a sequel of this movie and that the DVD copy will be available locally also. Arigato Gozaimasu to Warner Brothers for producing this movie! :)

Surfdome Wishlist For Christmas!

Was doing some blog hopping and came across a blog post where the blogger wrote her Surfdome Christmas Wishlist. I immediately visit Surfdome to read on how to join on the contest and indeed it was easy. All you need is visit Surfdome.com and make your wish list worth £250. Next write a blog post about your wish list with links to the products in it. That easy! Or as I thought it would be...  ;)

Do I fancy winning a £250 Surfdome Voucher just in time for Christmas?

All-in-all I have 6 items; 2 gifts for my mom, 2 gifts for my son and 2 gifts for myself. All items arriving at £248.74. Wheeew! Glad I didn't go beyond £250! :D

- Christmas… #ITSCOMING -

Rurouni Kenshin

I just finished watching samurai today at SM City CDO. At first I have no interest in watching it even though im a fan of the anemi version of samurai x. Im not much a fan of to much brutality and blood shedding movie of which I know what the movie would be in its anime version. My reason is that Ive seen much violence in real world that I dont want to add up more by watching more of it on movie.
December 5, 2012 was the start of Rurouni Kenshin (live action) screening in SM City CDO where it exclusively shown. Before it started screening I actually ask my friends who will surely want to watch it and had anticipated for the movie. I just thought ill just tag along with them and yes im curious on the artist.
Today is its 3rd day of screening here in the Philippines and rumors says that todays going to be the last day of screening. After hearing this I suddenly felt the urge to watch it. However, each of my friends watch on their own, so that left me, myself and I who aint seen the movie yet. So even if im alone, off i go and watch the movie.

Unexpectedly, I had tolerated the fight scenes. Takeru Sato, who plays Kenshin Himura is so handsome that would make every woman including me swoon while watching his every moves. He was in character to Kenshin Himura both on the fight scenes and drama scenes. The fight scenes are epic and is the same in the anime version. I say everyone work hard and portray each of their characters perfectly as well as the cinematography. It was a great movie. No wonder everyone is anticipating for a sequel.

My favorite fight scenes...
  • When Kenshin rescue Kaoru and act as if just someone who is innocently swift off Kaoro and just by chance protect her at the same time from being hit by Jin-E sword. The running and jump stunt is what I like most on it.
  • Kenshin's fight scene with 10 samurai's of Kanryu who wants to own the Dojo.
  • Kenshin and Sanosuke fighting the 250 samurai's at Kanryu's Mansion.
  • And of course Jin'e and Kenshin fight specifically Kenshin showing the High heaven style, Twin dragon strike. The result will make Jin'e elbow broken and tendons snapped of which he can use his arms to handle sword fight.
I dont really say the movie is a version of Samurai X anime. Its because the story in the Rurouni Kenshin (Live Action) is a mixed scenes from the anime. You can say more like a summary also because the same thought and enemies where also in the movie.

Random scenes of which Rurouni Kenshin (Live Action) differs from the anime series...
  • Doctor Gensai and his 2 grand daughters where not on the movie.
  • Supposed to be Kenshin and Sanosuke will fight head to head and then Kenshin will defeat him. In the movie Kenshin never really fight Sanosuke all he did was avoid every attack from Sanosuke.
  • After Kenshin and Sanosuke fight it should be that he will be living in Kamiya Dojo. In the movie he isn't, although at the ending he is already sleeping Kamiya Dojo. Hmm probably a hint on a sequel movie huh?!
The movie actually left me wondered will I ever find a man like him. Well, someone who is willing to protect me whatever that cost him... Not the manslayer Kenshin but Kenshin the Rurouni (wanderer). Lol Just some crazy wish for thinking of a loveless woman. ^_^
Anyways, I will definitely anticipate a sequel of this movie, although there is no clear hint of a part II on the movie. Maybe on the sequel Yokohiro is already great at his fighting skills and Sanosuke showing off his futakoi wani(Im not sure if its the right spelling) technique.

Lovers Know Love Has Consequences. #OneMoreTry

I watched 24/7 at the Centrio Cinema with friends a few weeks ago and before the movie start they show trailers of coming soon movies. One of the movies is One More Try which is Star Cinema and Viva Film's entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival. After watching the full trailer I have already anticipated to watch it since then.
The story is interesting and not a typical tagalog movie, kudos to Jay Fernando and Karen Ramos for the story and script. Though it might be thought kinda the same with No Other Woman of which by chance shared the same director Ruel S. Bayani but the movie is more in depth and touching. Its not just all about love and fidelity in relationship but more about family; a mother's unconditional love, valuing a partners trust  and giving decisions even if the heart is on the line. I also like the actors and actress that they have pick to cast in the movie because they all perfectly portrayed their role so far as what ive seen on the full trailer. Among the cast are Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo, Dingdong Dantes, Angel Locsin, Agot Isidro, Carmina Villaroel, Edward Mendez, and Ms. Gina PareƱo.

Love is perfect but lovers are not.
How can something so right seem so wrong?
Love knows no wrong or right.

Here are some of the excerpts in the movie:

Angel Locsin to Dingdong Dantes: Meron na akong anak, may sakit siya. At kailangan niya ng tulong ng tatay niya.
Angelical Panganiban to Agot Isidro: How can you even say no to a mother with a dying child at sa asawa mo na noun pa lang gustong gusto na magkaanak pero hindi ko yun mabigay sa kanya.

That Trip To Manila

Off to Manila with my cousin and her boyfriend.
It was supposed to be my vacation escape of the year but it turn out not that way. To the last minute my cousin change schedule so instead of staying in Manila for 2 days we just had 1 day to stroll around. With that the itinerary that I've planned didn't happened also. Here it is:
Day 1
Zoobic Safari (PHP 495)
Activities: features a wide range of habitats like; Tiger Safari, Croco Loco, Savannah, Rodent World, Serpentarium, Aetas Trail, Petting Show and Animal Moozeum.
Marine Park(Php 500) Featuring whale and sea lion shows.
Day 2
Ocean Park Snow Village and then shop at Mall of Asia
When we arrived we rest and had lunch at the hotel. And then off to Mall of Asia for a stroll and dinner. Bought a cellphone for uncle at Nokia Store.
Had my first taste of New Orleans cuisine. Dinner at Gumbo.
Shop for make up at Etude House Mall of Asia.
I was determined to fulfill even just Day 1 of my plan but the travel time will eat out the hours because instead of the 1:45 hours planned it was said that it takes 3 hours to travel Subic. And we still need to take her boyfriend to the airport for his international flight in the morning of Day 1. Instead our day was just spent in Baclaran. We visited the church first, offer our prayer and off to the market and shop. I still haven't give up yet and I suggested ocean park coz I really wanted to witness the Snow Village and will going to stroll at Newport Mall in the evening and grab dinner there but my cousin isn't feeling well. She doze off the whole afternoon. On the evening we went back to Mall of Asia for dinner. we dine at Bulgogi Brothers, a Korean restaurant. The menu is expensive but its all worth with the great costumer service and great tasting food. :)

The next day our flight was scheduled at 2 PM, so we still have time to buy Krispy Kreme or JCo Donuts for pasalubong, but I just doze myself off the whole morning. I even had to drag myself off to bed to prepare to leave and say my goodbye to Manila.
We had a super delayed flight that time also. Boarding time was supposed to 2:25 PM but instead we board the the plane around 3PM and then we stayed at the plane for almost 2 hours because there was a traffic congestion on the planes. We arrived CDO already very late around 6PM. Hmmmm So Manila is holding me back huh! :D

Fabulous Day At The Etude House Centrio Mall Opening

I have been blogging my excitement on Etude House Opening 2 branches in Cagayan de Oro City. And my fairy godmother must be reading at my blog that she grant me an invitation to Etude House Centio Mall opening. Lol
Yes! You heard it right folks. Happiness all over when I was given a chance to explore Etude House Centrio Mall as I please. :D
However, it seems that excitement was not visible on the day of the tour actually because I came late. I was actually early at the mall but I was in company with my cousin and her fiancee. Anyways, it was funny when I got inside. I was like a kid staring at so many toys infront of me that im having hard time to choose which items to test first. Lol

Etude House had the store close coz they exclusively cater us bloggers inside. Here's a pic of fellow bloggers trying out eye make-ups...
Miss Donna Gonzales demonstrating the BB cream applicator.
After Miss Donna's demonstration on BB Cream applicator now im dying to have one also. Its such a handy tool coz it helps you evenly distribute liquid foundation in your face and at the same time massage it.
Here are the list of Etude's recommended products...

  • Wonder Pore Freshner
  • Baking Powder Cleansing Foam Moist
  • Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Cream
  • Total Age Repair – Wrinkle Reduce Royal BB Cream
  • BB Dation (Precious mineral special kit)
  • Color my brows
  • Lash Perm 3 Step Volumecara
  • Mascara Remover
  • AC Clinic Daily Acne Foam Cleanser
I actually felt a bit awkward attending the opening of Etude House Centrio. It's because I was busy and was in a hurry when I left home that day that I didn't have time to put on make up on my face. Well, it turns out perfect because Ladysoda went on and gave me a test make-up with Etude products...
So lets start with my bare face... ;)
We then tried the BB Cream with the applicator. At first I got a tickling feeling but as I got used to it, it feels good on the face already.
Putting on the eye make-up now...
And then finally we are done! Taddddaaa... Whatchatink?
Thanks a lot to Ladysoda for making me look fab and also for the tips she gave me while we were having our make-up session.
And also thanks to Etude House I found the perfect lip color for my lips. Ah I love it very much!
Here's a picture of Northmin Bloggers with Miss Donna Gonzales, the operations manager of Etude House.
