My Succesful Blogging 101 Mini Forum Experience!

CDObloggers Blogging 101 Mini Forum was a successful today!
It was an instant plan to organize mini forums as part of our summer activities. So within a week we need to prepare a presentation for Blogging 101 since Red team was the first presenter. As the team leader I got stressed on how to handle things out since I’m not good in speaking in front of everybody. Most of my  group mates are busy and others don’t want to speak-up so I had no choice but to overcome my fear.
Anyways, Im glad that we pull it over and finish the event successfully. As well as help newbie bloggers the basics of blogging, setting up their own blog in free hosted and self-hosted, and content development. The feeling was great and happy!

Looking back a year ago, I was a newbie and don’t have any idea about blogging. I just created my on blog when I got to hangout with blogger friends -- the CDObloggers. I was thinking that in order for me to belong in the group I need to learn and experience what blogging is. So I set-up my first blog which is the “Something Learn and Discover” in this blog I just post whatever interesting things I discovered and learned. From then on I started experimenting from customizing my blogs template to learning to optimize my blog to gain more traffic in order to earn. And when I got confuse at something or need assistance I just ask help with my fellow CDObloggers whenever we get to hangout or meetings. I could say that joining CDObloggers has given me a lot of influence when it comes to blogging because aside from the fact that I get to network with fellow bloggers I was also able to participate into different activities and workshops that gave me additional knowledge. And now my latest accomplishment in this group was that I got the chance to teach newbie bloggers during the Blogging 101 mini forum. ;)

By the way, a big thanks to Smart Communications for our very nice freebies and to our venue which is Vienna Kaffehaus. The place was very great they offer nice service and comfortable function room at a reasonable price. It’s sad that on our SEO Mini Forum they won’t be able to cater us because of the scheduled power interruptions. Hopefully we could come back on our future mini forums.

Missing Foodtrip!

One thing I miss now is food trip. It has always been one of my ultimate comfort and favorite hobby with me, myself and I. But lately I haven't done this anymore since Ive been busy with my work and catching up with my schedules. I've been doing a lot of pending task and power interruptions eating up my time as well. I'm still finding ways to arrange my working schedule and luckily the long holiday has help me loosen up some of the task. Hopefully next week I get to do my food trip and spend some time doing nothing but eating my faves. I'm actually craving of dessert particularly, parfaits at Ice Castle (hmmmm... yummmy!!!!).

Urgh! I will definitely treat myself to Ice castle next week!

My Favorite Tomatoes

I remember a friend told me that lucky is the guy who is going to marry me someday. Why she said so? Well it's because I survive eating my meals with just rice and my ever favorite tomatoes in vinegar. ;) hehehe I really love tomatoes specially the green ones which is crunchy (yummmmy!!!) . I wouldn't cry or get mad if they left me with no food in the house as long as there are tomatoes left. Tomatoes was also what I used to eat when I was pregnant with Justine Mars even if theres a yummy food served I always look for tomatoes.

The Hugs & Kisses Sterling Silver Necklace Giveaway

Icay, a fellow blogger and mommy who is currently living in Las Vegas now is giving away “Hugs and Kisses” Necklace from Alexa’s Angels. This is her unique way of saying thank you for another year given to her on her birthday which is today, April 1st.

I first saw the necklace in plurk where Icay posted a photo of her wearing it. It really attracted me ever since. And when Icay posted the mechanics of the “Hugs and Kisses” Necklace from Alexa’s Angels contest on her blog I was happy to know that its going to be the prize and that I will have a chance to owned it too (if I win! hehehe). It's also good to know that this Alexa’s Angels is dedicated to creating, finding and supporting programs that benefit women.

So why do I deserve to get the giveaway? Well simply because Im a women and I really love to see the Hugs & Kisses Sterling Silver Necklace on my neck. ;)

Friday Foodtrip with Friends

Together with friends last Friday, we went to Limketkai Mall for food trip and bonding. We first dine at Shabu-Shabu in the second floor of Limketkai Mall. It was my... or rather our first time to try dining in the place so we were amaze at how they serve their food it was like a picnic at your backyard. The restaurants ambiance doesn't really have that outdoor look but the way they cook or even grilled your food right on top of your table where you eat made me think that we are having a picnic. :D It definitely made our tummy full after finishing our order which is ofcourse their specialty, the Shabu-Shabu.

After dinner we went to Coffeworks for some coffee shakes and wifi access. But it did not end there since before going home we bought pizza at Yellow Cab and eat... eat... again.

The Three Rules I Play

In our house I play 3 rules; daughter, mother and provider. It was never easy playing this rules at the same time especially when situation calls that I have to choose which come first in this rules. Good thing that life has already experiences that help me play this rules with much needed strength and confidence. There have been many times Ive fallen without anyone who catches me, picked me and comforted me.

As a daughter, it was never easy catching up with a 52 year old single-maiden-mom. Since I was a child Ive always wish my mom and I bond like the Gilmore Girls do but sad to say we never did. Though I still believe that its never to late for everything. I just need to arranged my life now because I feel that as long as long as I'm not stable and living in comfort we wont be closer. My mom never got married or never ever had any serious relationship (haven't seen some guy visiting her everyday so maybe none!) again as I grow up. I don't know why but I think its one of the major issue why she constantly got some mood swings and just got mad at times over small problems or things. Ive been trying hard to understand her by doing everything to provide her the comforts of living but it still not enough. And sometimes it would reach to the point that I have to just let her be, if she is mad then that's it! Because I don't just play as her daughter all the time, I still have 2 rules to that needs me too.

As a mother, Being a single mom is never easy because you will need to play 2 rules; a mother and a father to my son. Oh! I should have said 4 rules... (chuckle) Anyways, raising a child is crucial since what you teach and what he learn came from how you raise him to be. And now my major problem is a father-figure for my son since there is only mom and I in the house he tends to imitates some feminine ways. I'm really hoping to remedy it and right now confused as to how I will do that... I don't want to just grab some guys because its not going to be a good idea having relationship just for a sake of necessity.

As a provider, well this is really tough. Its never easy earning money. It has been a major factor in living specially now that prices of commodities increased. Food, shelter, current and water bills, clothing and etc... I need to provide this for my family.
