#WrapUp: July 2015

July has been a very busy yet productive month for me. In between the laziness I am glad I was able to be productive at the same time. I actually thought this will not be possible but looking back, it was indeed possible...
So to wrap it all up.. I'll share things I havent get the chance to share in my previous blog post. As well as, some explanations, observation and or whatever random thoughts I have this month.

  • Monthly Wrap-up Post. First off... this is my first wrap-up post. This is the first time I am doing this kind of blog post. Will see if I can keep up on creating monthly wrap up post like this. So why create post like this? Well, I just felt the need to have a venue I can share some random thoughts I have this month that I want to share to my readers.
  • #PowerCrisis. One of the reason Im slacking on some blog post and work is that this power crisis that our city is experiencing. We have a daily power interruption schedule, such a hassle!
  • Graveyard Shift. In relation to #PowerCrisis. I am back to sleeping in the morning and wake up late. I have started working on waking up in the morning and sleep before 12 midnight. Im yet to adjust and cope up again because of the power interruption. I hate that the whole schedule that Ive been trying to make into a routine had to be destroyed because I need to adjust with the power interruption schedule.
  • The Versatile Blogger Award. I just want to thank Journal of Style for the nomination, it is truly an honor. And I apologize for not publishing my nominations. Honestly, I am still yet to gather bloggers to nominate. So if you want to be nominated feel free to post in the comment section. :)
  • Disqus No More. Frustratingly, Disqus has some problems with their system update. So I switch back to the built in comment section of my blog. Which I find convenient and neat in the end. I apologize for some comments that are not displayed because the sync option of Disqus wont work. :(
  • Comment and Blog Hopping. This month also I started  a comeback on actively visiting fashion/lifestyle blogs and commenting. It feels good to be back... I must say its one reasons why Im actively blogging as well. I hope to get to know more bloggers here in my blog. Thank you for visiting and posting comments on my blog everyone! :*
  • Collaborations. I just want to take this opportunity as well to thank the companies and businesses who partnered with me. So far this month, I think, has the most partnership offers that arrived in my email. I had a great time online shopping. Cant wait for the items to arrived! ^_^
  • Follow for Follow. And of course, I'll be glad to exchange follow, feel free to drop your links in the comment section. Here's my links:

#OOTD For July:

Since I haven't created a post on some of my outfits of the day. I will take reference on my instagram post... ;)

What I Wore | Jacquard A-line Dress

Hi everyone! How was your midweek? It has been a busy week for me... Im still trying to breath.
Here's my outfit for last Saturday's event that I have attended. The event was a meet and greet with Celebrity Chef-Nutritionist Nadine Tengco, and it was held at KaVe Restaurant Bar, Luxe Hotel.
Took the chance to wear this vintage jacquard dress from Zaful.com. This dress is so pretty, makes me feel so feminine.
I actually had a fashion emergency on the way to the event. One of my shoe broke... :( Since it'll consume too much time to go back home, I asked my friend to bring her wedge shoes...Why wedge? Because her shoe size is smaller than mine, so better be safe. Unfortunately, she left the shoes that she had already packed... oh.. oh..  I almost canceled my attendance to the event. Good thing my friend kept a shoe glue in her car. It was able to remedy my broken shoe.
Moral lesson: Always checked your shoes before wearing it. Specially if you havent worn it for a long time.  Shoes that arent worn for a long time are most probably causes fashion emergencies.

With my equally pretty, fashionista and so preggy friend . She took my outfit shots by the way. Thanks Dee! ;)

#ShoeSelfie: Velvet Strappy Sandals

My first perks from BPI Express! Thank you!
Before I talk about my shoe selfie, let me give my readers (both regular and new) a warm hug as a sign of gratitude for visiting my blog. It feels so good to read your comments here on my blog. Im happy to gain new friends from different parts of the world.
Daghang Salamat! Kamsahamnida! Thank you! ^_^
Last April, I received an exclusive P500 Zalora gift certificate with no minimum spend when I use my BPI Card. And so I bought this snake studded cross strap sandals by Velvet... I've added an additional though because the shoes original price is PHP799.00. I choose this because I am planning to wear this for a bohemian theme event.
It was my first time to purchase in Zalora. So far was very glad with the smooth transaction and product quality. The shoes was delivered 3 days after purchase and door-to-door to our house.
What do you think of the shoes? Any bohemian outfit suggestion to match on my sandals?

By the way, I am still looking for bloggers to nominate for Versatile Blogger Award. If you're interested to be nominated feel free to buzz me at the comment section! ;)

What I Wore | Off-Shoulder Top & Maxi Skirt

Happy Sunday everyone! Here's my latest outfit post...
It's supposed to be rainy season during this month here in our country but it still feels like summer hasn't end yet in our city. Some parts of the country are actually experiencing storms already yet here in our city its very hot. It maybe cloudy at times but it never rains and the air is so warm that makes you sweaty and irritable.
In my previous blog wrote about me and my friends relaxing at Chali Beach Resort. Here's my outfit for that day. Since the day calls for relaxing. I opted for something comfy bohemian outfit.
How was the weather in your place?

Relaxing at Chali Beach Resort

How was your weekend so far? Friday is a holiday here in the Philippines.
"The Philippine National Government already declared July 17, 2015 as a Regular Holiday nationwide as Filipino Muslims prepare for the celebration of Eid’l Fitr, the feast marking the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan."
Me and my girl friends spent the holiday at Chali Beach Resort. Technically we planned for a swim but we ended just relaxing and had a fun chitchat. We weren't able to swim because the kids who swim before us carelessly pooped on the pool that the resort had to clean the pool, so the pool will be unavailable for 4 hours.
Parents should be mindful when their kids are using public pools. They should not just leave them there alone and should teach their kids for some good etiquette. The kids are swimming alone and no adult was watching over them except for the resorts lifeguard.
I was so excited to swim pa naman sana... but I guess what happened was a blessing in disguise because it would be harmful for us swimming on a dirty pool.
Good thing the resort has a nice view and ambiance. The wind from the sea is so relaxing that we didnt mind that our plan for a swim didn't push through.

Here's some snapshots of Chali Beach Resort that I took...

My pretty friends enjoying a good chitchat while im busy taking photos... ;)

I like that they have this buzzer everytime you need to order or need a service from the the waiters. They're also very prompt in responding after you push the button. My friend really had a good time pushing that button... :D

My friend is a pasta lover so she ordered this pasta but she didnt enjoy this pasta though....

I ordered this Fruit Platter at Php 145.00. It taste good except for the watermelon, but way too expensive.

The beautiful sunset view by the beach.... Standing here while taking pictures makes me reminisce of old times.
My mom use to stay at my aunts house which just in the neighborhood of this resort. So we use to swim on part of this beach (in the photo below). In this beach, I had my first beach swimming where I cried out of fear. I even had a picture of it with my aunt. I was so young then...
I also remember how we use to crossed in that dikes just to swim here in the resort's beach for free. I have a relative who is a caretaker of a private property next to this resort, so we use to enter there and then swim to this resorts beach with our picnic basket swimming with us. hahaha

My memories in this resort didn't stop there... This used to be a playground before when this cottages has not been built yet. My aunts, little cousins and me used to visit here in the afternoon and play. My cousins learned how to walk here because the grass area was so wide and I had fun playing at the playground.

In this resort also was where one of my aunt had her wedding reception held. I remember after wedding, I run around still in my flower girl gown and then fell in the pool. I don't know how to swim so my uncle, the groom, had to rush in and jump in the pool in his tuxedo to save me... I was that clumsy... ^_^ It was a good memory though because everyone ended swimming in the pool after...

Those were the days... I had a great trip down memory lane in Chali Beach Resort. I didn't notice I spent so many good memories here. Its good to have visited this place once again. :)
