As for me, it was a weekend well spent.
I just started watching Hart of Dixie and really getting hooked on it. So this TV show just ended its last season this March 2015 and I just learned that there will be no season 5. And that rumors has it that in season 4 the episodes not getting interesting. Im still far away though, Im still in season 1. And since I am still very interested in it, will see.
I just love Rachel Bilson in this TV show. She's drop-dead gorgeous. I also love her outfits, so chic!
Anyone of you watched Hart of Dixie too?
Now, about my outfit... Talking about denim being never out of style. This high waist skirt has been mine from college days. And that's more than 10 years ago... And it still fits me?! Wow!  I remember buying this with my girl friend... Risa. We both have the same skirt, you know that matchy-matchy fashion we do with our besties. ;D
On my top, I also shop this with my other besties... Dee has her fave pink knitted top while I have it my fave color, blue. ^_^
Do you also shop matching clothes with your friends?

GT Cosmetics Papaya Lotion

How was midweek so far?
Today I will be sharing a product review.
Last week, PR Works inform me that they will send me GT Cosmetics papaya lotion for review. Honestly, I am not familiar with GT Cosmetics and so I made a research online and read a lot of great reviews regarding their carrot soap and lotion. I have also learned that this is proudly Philippine made beauty product.

GT Cosmetics Manufacturing had its humble beginning in Liloan, Cebu, in 1994 after Engr. Salvane decided to put her dormant craftsmanship — as a chemical engineer — to good use. Salvane started the marketing of her brandless product by just giving out samples to neighbors and friends, who then became her first customers and later dealers of her line of soaps. The soaps remained brandless for a couple of years until Salvane decided to go full blast with the business and put a label to her product in 1996. Thus, GT was officially born, and the rest was history.

The package arrived last Saturday. It was place in a cute gift box with not just the papaya lotion but papaya soap, carrot soap and bleaching soap.
On the lotions packaging...
The GT papaya lotion is a 3-in-1 lotion that instantly whitens, moisturize, and protects skin from the sun’s harmful rays through its. It has collagen that helps reduce signs of aging.
Now on to the review...
I like the easy squeeze bottle, its very convenient. I think this lotion is only available in 75ml as I check on their website. I also like that expiry date of the lotion is visible in the top-front of the packaging.
The lotion comes with light fragrant scent.
As for the whitening I cant tell much because I just use this product for a few days yet. For its sunblock this is pretty great with SPF 40 but I read at the back instruction; Do not stay too long in the sun even while using sunscreen products.
Now on the moisturizing, its very effective specially for me who has dry skin. Its keeps my skin hydrated for a long time. And its moisturizing component doesn’t leave a sticky feel.

GT Cosmetics products are available in Watsons, SM Supermalls, Robinsons Malls, Gaisano Malls, Metro, Prince Hypermarket, and Mercury Drug.

What I Wore | Crop Top, Jeggings & Boots

How was your week so far?
My week started with laziness.
Ive been trying to post here on my blog since last weekend but cant find the words to say. Even the simplest one. (>.<)
So today, amidst laziness and painful menstruation I tried my best to compose a blog post...
Here's an outfit I wore when my friends and I went out for a new restaurant discovery here in Cagayan de Oro. We check out Macey's Cafe which is a cool place to hangout... I'll share more about this place on the next post... Lets talk about the outfit for now.
The crop top was a birthday gift to me by my pretty friend... Risa. My girls really spoils me with gifts that are definitely my fashion fave. Lucky me!
If you notice, this are one of the rare moments of me in jeans err... in jeggings now, so to speak. Was inspired to wear jeans because of my new edgy boots that arrived just recently from DressLink.com. It has been my new fave since it arrive.

Dresslink Biker Boots
With its cheap price of 7.14 USD I didnt expect much. I picked this boots because I have been wanting to have one and was convince by the great reviews it receive from others who bought it as well. This review page really helps a lot specially if there is photos included. I even got one size up than my normal shoe size as per the advice in the reviews and they were right because what I have now fit just right with a little space allowance for my feet to breath. If I ordered in my normal size it would have been uncomfortable because it'll be too small. The quality is good, no smell. It has a fur lining from inside, which is very soft and the leather is also very soft. Overall its a worth it buy!
Have your tried ordering at DressLink.com as well?

Formal Evening Gown Styles

Hi everyone!
How do you decide in buying a formal evening gown? Or do you buy or just rent it?
Formal evening gowns are usually worn in formal gatherings like prom, homecoming, weddings, and 'black tie attire' occasions. Events which doesn't really happen regularly in our life. Well, unless you're a celebrity, politician, or a socialite where formal occasions happen almost every week though. However, for someone like me which formal wear occasions rarely happens, deciding on what to wear is really tricky. Here are some great tips I have learned so far...
  • Investing in a formal gown can be a good thing to do though so when cases that you are invited on short notice you will have something to wear immediately.
  • You just have to make sure that you buy a formal evening gown that can be worn more than once.
  • You can pick a solid-colored and simple design gown because they're simpler to mix and match. So it will not look that you're wearing the same gown as the previous.
  • Come to think of it after wearing it, you can even have it rented. ^_^
  • Take note also that evening gowns are available in many designs such as halter, backless, strapless, and many more, so make sure you know the shape of your body to know what gown styles will flatter your body figure.

Formal evening gowns that never go out of style:

One-shoulder - this detail seems to be steamier in some periods than others but it's still a timeless choice.
Halter - another classic neckline cut that will flatter all body shapes.
Strapless/bustier neckline - the heart-shaped.
Spaghetti straps - wide shoulders and top-heavy should avoid thin straps as they can look like two fragile threads on your wide/full figure.
V-neckline - a very flattering and sexy neckline that flatter all shapes.

The photos above are grabbed from JV Dresses where you can find affordable long dresses.
Have a great weekend!
