Inlove with Maxis and Side Slit

Happy Monday!
Today marks the end of the long weekend. It's back to school tomorrow so I'll be waking up early to take care of the kiddo's needs.
The kiddo's birthday last Saturday was fun and tiring at the same time. The city is celebrating its annual Higalaay Festival. So many people in malls and everywhere in the city because of so many events happening. It's crowded and traffic. (>.<)
I don't know when this all started but I seem to enjoy quite places and/or places with limited people around. I'm no longer use to dealing with crowds. Even with friends Im connected to just a few...
If I hadn't promise the kiddo I wouldn't have go out. Anyways, it was his birthday wish. And it was worth it because he had fun. Ive granted all that he wanted to do on that day from catching Pokemons, to eating at his fave restaurant, as well as playing at the arcade (which gave me muscle aches the day after.)
What touches me the most, is that with all those activities we did he always asked me if I enjoyed it as well. My heart melts...Such a sweet kid! It's his birthday but his thinking of me.

About the look....
This was actually taken last May.
You may see this sleeveless top a lot for I have worn this a lot already. I just love mix and matching this Basic House top with anything.
I'm currently inlove with maxis and side slit. The skirt is my new addition in my closet. Found it at Centrio Mall Bazaar.

The Good Things

It's weekend finally! Looking forward to grab some rest this weekend since last week it was a working weekend.
Since the kiddo and I  transferred house... I've been very busy. I must admit I was having a hard time coping up with solo responsibilities. I was so used that my mom is there assisting me with house chores and meal preparation. It was hard but this teaches me to get organized, prioritized and focus. I have also learn to practice positive outlook everyday -- to only focus at good things of everything.
So for today, Im listing those good things that I gain recently...
* Breath fresh air. Well... yes, it is windy in this house I don't have to worry on the hot weather. Other than that though, the previous house kind of too small for me, my mom and the kiddo. So we gave mom a space to breath, without us relying on her on everything.
* Follow early sleep pattern. Since the kiddo goes to school early I need to sleep early to wake-up early. I was actually having hard time and only got less hours of sleep at first. And I'm always running out of time that even if I go to work early I still cant catch up at the end of the day. However, as I follow regular sleeping patterns I got used to it and slowly catch up with the rhythm of the time. I do catch up long hours of sleep on weekend though. :D
* Streamline important responsibilities. In order to help me catch up I have learned to say NO and work on identifying what's more important responsibilities to prioritize and focus on them. I learn to think first before saying YES to any commitments.
 * Thought me to move. Oh yes! Having a bigger house means bigger responsibilities. I need to dust, sweep, scrub, clean the lawn, water the plants and so on....
* Kiddo learns responsibilities. Since I have so much responsibilities at hand, I have an excuse to ask him to help me with things. And he also learn to prepare his own stuff in school.
* Having time out of the computer. The downside of working-at-home is that I can stay all day infront of the PC...Which is a really unhealthy lifestyle. Because now I found reasons to move away from my PC and have a little exercises.
* Enjoy the natures view everyday. I mentioned earlier that some of my responsibilities are cleaning the lawn and water the plants. This is because the house is surrounded with plants and fruit tress. And... oh yes... I can enjoy eating mango, makopa (mountain/water apple, santol (cottonfruit) and guava fresh!
* Have more time to think. Since moving here I have done a lot of thinking on what I wanted in life. The peaceful ambiance gave me moments to realize things in my life right now. I wonder if this has to do with me maturing or lets just blame it to peaceful ambiance. :D

There you go! Didn't expect this post to be this long. Would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section...
Have a fun and relaxing weekend everyone!

Summer Fashion Essentials

Hey everyone! How was the weather there in your place?
Finally, we're bidding goodbye to El NiƱo that weve painstakingly endure for a year or so. It's now rainy season here in our country. And I am loving the not so hot morning, wet afternoon and cold evening. ^_^
On today's post, I am sharing some must have fashion essentials for summer. I know that for friends in the United States and the rest of the northern hemisphere you're probably enjoying summer this time. This post can still be handy in our country as well though, because the sun loves to shine the whole year round.

There are tons of summer essentials out there; and, with designers introducing and inventing new items on what seems like a daily basis, how do you keep up?
For us fashionista who loves to look great, and wants to have it all, these are a few of the best summer fashion essentials that you must have in your wardrobe.
Plain white tee - They are cool, they can be dressed up and down, they work well in an indoor or outdoor setting, and you can pair them up with virtually any outfit. White t-shirts look good, they are airy, they can be elegant or casual, and you can work anything around them to complete any look or fashion statement you are trying to pull off.
Ballet flats - Sure, gladiator sandals are a must have, as are flip flops and any other thong style sandal. But, the ballet flat is classic, cute, light in weight, and they come in dozens of colour varieties. They are both chic and comfortable, and go well with button down jeans, a skirt, shorts, or any other outfit you plan on wearing for the day.
The blazers - An elegant blazers dresses up any outfit. If you are going out for a night on the town, a date in the afternoon, or have to head out to a work meeting or event, the right blazers can spruce up even the most casual of outfits you have on. Black, navy blue, or any other colour you desire, it can truly add elegance and class to the right outfit you have planned to wear.
Always remember that fashion is all about looking your best and feeling great. Before purchasing a product you like you should always shop around and try and see if you can get a lower price.
When it comes to online shopping there are multiple catalogue comparison sites which can help you find the best deal. Justcatalogues.co.uk is a great place to start.

What I Wore | Black Off-Shoulder Top & Floral Palazzo Pants

Hello Feb-ibig...
How is everyone doing on the second month of the year?
There's two occasions most people in our city looking forward on celebrating this month...
And that's Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day.
Since I'm no Chinese and I currently have a non-existent love life. Will skip this topics.
P.S. Love is spoken as pag-ibig in our local dialect. That is why I greeted you with Feb-ibig! ;)

Aside from maxi dresses and maxi skirts I also love palazzo pants. I just love how comfortable and easy to style this type of pants.

My wide leg pants styling preferences...
I love to pair it with basic tees and a statement necklace.
I also love it with Off-shoulder tops.
I usually wear them on flat sandals.

My palazzo styling checklist...
Wear it with turtle neck tops.
Wear it with lace top.
For formal look, tuck in a button-down shirt with a belt.
Or wear it with blazer and heels or wedges.
For an edgy touch wear it with leather jacket.
And for casual take add denim jacket or vest.
To buy plain color palazzo pants specifically in white, black, red and dark blue.

Do you like palazzo pants? How do you wear them?

Theme of The Year: #Invest2016

Hello there midweek! How was your week going on so far?
Since the year Ive read Bianca Gonzales' article about Theme of the Year Ive  been using it since then. So instead of writing new year resolutions that I would probably not achieve by the end of the year, I set a theme to guide me for the whole year. My previous themes so far, has helped me to stay on track on what I wanted to achieve and experience for the whole year.
Last year, I ended having the theme #Travel2015. So Im pursuing the theme #Invest2016 this year. This year will be all about savings and investment. I already have several investment in mind so wish me luck that I shall succeed it and achieve it.
My investment will not be solely about money. It will also be with things and actions that I believe will be vital for myself and my families future.
Have you think of a theme for yourself this year?

What I Wore | Sleeveless Lace Dress

It's mid-week and I cant wait for weekend! :D
Here's an outfit I wore at the Gibi Shoes Fun Day event. Attending invites like this, I always consider the venue, what the event is all about and the possible itinerary or happenings in the event, when choosing for an outfit to wear. Most likely casual chic is the usual outfit for this kind of event.
However, since we're going to meet and chitchat with celebrities; Jasmine and Ella before we go to the venue of the event, I choose to wear this lace dress so I will still be stylish yet comfy. And then paired it with a not so high wedge sandals so I can freely move at the event proper after.

I'm honestly having trouble creating blog post right now...
Before I can immediately express what I wanted to share here.
Not that I don't have anything to share... Believe me I have lots of things that I wanted to share to everyone here but I just cant find the words say.
I don't know why...
But I am trying to figure it out. For now I shall bear with my slow pace in writing a new blog post.

Have a great day everyone!

What I Wore | Halter Maxi Dress & Antique Statement Necklace

Hi there! Its been awhile since I have shared a post here in my blog...
Been so busy with multiple jobs. Need to work hard for holiday season and I also have lots of events Ive attended that I cannot wait to share with everyone here.
Here's an outfit I wore at one of the events I have attended. I really love this halter maxi dress because its very comfy and flattering to your body. The cloth is spandex. I specially love side-slit on the dress.
To finish the look I wore this antique inspired multi-chain statement necklace that I received recently from Happiness Boutique. I really love the quality of the necklace. I also love the personalized packaging of Happiness Boutique. Perfect for gifts specially this holiday season. ;)

What I Wore | Monster High Venus Flytrap Inspired

Happy Halloween everyone!
Before bidding goodbye to October and saying hello to November. Will be sharing an outfit inspired from the Monster High character.
This isn't actually a latest outfit, its one of those forgotten one... However, I am so glad to find the perfect time to share this to you. Wore this outfit at my niece Monster High theme birthday party.
I am loyal to my real name so I choose to dress up like Venus Flytrap. I have so many plans on my look but ended not wearing any accessories and didn't even complete my make-up because I was so busy with the party details. I worked on the decorations of the party and also help the birthday girl's friends on their costume. I also did all the kids make-up.
I am glad I was able to have few solo photos though... I never thought I could.
That explains the a bit messy make-up look and outfit in this photos because this was taken after the chaos... errr party! :D
Watch out soon on the blog, will also share the kids Monster High outfits.
What do you think of my Venus Flytrap outfit?

What I Wore | Pink Long Top/Dress

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a fun and well-spent weekend.
This long top or rather dress I'm wearing is not mine actually... A friend who is equally fashionista and more shopaholic than me purchased this online at Shopthiseasy.com.
At first glance, I know why she purchased this... It's because she loves pink. However, she told me she purchased this because she finds it very attractive on the model. ^_^ hahaha

Do you buy clothes because it looks very pretty and attractive on the model/mannequin?

Well, I use to do this before, but not now anymore. Nowadays, when I buy I have to think of the comfort, flexibility, and functionality of the clothes.
Back to the dress details...
Its cloth is suede fabric. The style is perfect for my friend because she is pregnant. The golden mask feather Corsage can be optionally removed if you don't like it.
Lastly, it was on sale so it's really a good buy.

The model that made my friend purchase this dress. Photo grab from the online shop.
