Style Origin 2014: Mensweek

Ayala Malls once again sets the stage for Style Origin on June 7-8, 2014 at the Centrio Mall Activity Center.

On the first day was the Mensweek. Male models parade on the runway in style featuring the latest trends from Global Filipino designers for Mensweek on June 7, 6PM. There is not much styles that I like but will featuring some standout styles that was showcase in the runway.

This top actually come with a built in bag at the back. The is see-through also. It'll be epic to see someone wearing this locally but I know most man wont dare wear so unless on the runway or pictorial.  :D

Crown.Pink.Feathers. This details shouts girl-ish style but I actually think its okay minus the crown though when worn. :D

The top is made of rubber. Guess this one is inspired from a parrot bird, very colorful. It kind of look tribal also though except for the material of the top.

This is the look I'm digging of all collections.

And yes Joseph Marco grace the runway. He wore a suit design by M Barretto.

Photos above grab from sir Rich Neri Concepcion

Below are photos with fellow CDO bloggers at the event.

And the greatest shock was during the introduction of Joseph Marco because I just first heard he will be one of the lead cast of the Pinoy remake of the Korean drama Pure Love. My oh My!

Here's my outfit on the day...

Flash - "Let there be light" Photography Workshop

Attended the free photography workshop that hosted by Colours Digital Foto last March 15 at Centrio Mall. It was limited to 100 registrant at first but due to the demand they increased Workshop slots to 300. I was able to register online when the in-store registration was already close. There a lot of photographers joined the actual event. And the good thing the workshop is that it was open for everyone even for a newbie like me. And I must say I learned a lot from the pro's although there are some topics Im having hard time to comprehend. Basically the workshop is all about the benefits in using flash photography. It was handy for me because I dont used much my flash because I was relying on the built-in flash in my DSLR camera.

They invited 3 great photographer in Philippines as speakers...

CDOBloggers Night 2013: Thanksgiving Party

CDOBloggers Night 2013: Thanksgiving Party went punk fashion. I actually suggested the dress code because wearing punk will go well with the venue the Chills Music & Video Family KTV. ^_^ I went all black with my punk fashion, black off shoulder top and black shorts. My shorts has traces of brown threads which compliments my brown boots. For accessories I added a colorful spike bracelet, spike ring, cross ring and a rings chain necklace (which in this look I use as a belt. I just find it more comfortable to wear it as belt than wear it as necklace) to complete the look.

Okay so what's with the last 2 photos?! Will they ask us (who are wearing punk fashion) to showcase our style. Seriously! Im not good at doing this. Anyways, here are some photos of the event.

Hello Krispy Kreme Cagayan de Oro!

Hello everyone! Krispy Kreme officially opens its doors to all Kagayanons. The long wait is finally over for us.

I was invited for an exclusive Bloggers Tour before the Krispy Kreme opens to the public. I choose this new thrifted dress which comes with a crop top layered on it coz the print on the crop top perfectly fits the occasion. Hello Krispy Kreme CDO!

CDOBloggers had so much fun on that day! We had the chance to tour on the inside kitchen, watch the donuts while it was freshly cook, design our own donuts and yes ofcourse (the most awesome part) tried any Krispy Kreme drinks and donuts.

They also have this game called Krispy Kreme Doughnut personality quiz which helps you find out the doughnut that matches your personality. My answers are mostly D's and my doughnut personality is Caramel Kreme Crunch.

Thank you very much Krispy Kreme for the invitation. Its was a blast day. Thank you also for the awesome souvenirs!! I had a big smile on after I tried my Krispy Kreme tshirt. Finally a freebie that is made for me! I usually receive a larger tshirts so I end up looking like a hanger when Im wearing it.

Last October 11, 2013, Actress-singer Vina Morales visited Ystilo Salson Limketkai branch for Ystilo Salon’s 15th Year Anniversary. I had the chance to interview with Miss Vina and it was actually my first time to do a celebrity interview. Good thing I prepared some questions on my mobile notepad. ^_^ So here goes a video of my interview.

Kasalang Filipino 2013

I happened drop by at Centrio Mall to meet a friend and just when I'm about to go home I thought of taking pictures at the on going event at the Centrio Event Center. Its actually the last day of a 3-day event of Kasalang Filipino 2013. I have consistently attended Kasalan sa Kagay-an the past years and this year they now change its event name to Kasalang Filipino. I remember the first Kasalan sa Kagay-an I have attended I blogged about my Dream Wedding right after when I got home. Yes ganun ang effect!  Hopefully next year though when I will attend the next Kasalang Filipino I will be booking vendors for my own wedding already. Tehee... ^_^

Anyways, I took some photos on what's inside so I'll walk you through...

I started on the right side and this is what you see beautiful gowns from the Wedding Zone Events Coordinator

Make Your Own Havaianas 2013

The most anticipated Make Your Own Havaianas finally took place at Centrio Mall last August 17-18, 2013. What makes this event extra special this year is that I have finally participated in it. The past years of MYOH event I just peep in, took some pictures, go home and blog on my city guide blog. This year would supposed to be doing the same but since I won from the Havaianas Hot Air Balloon contest and got myself a discount coupon and a Limited Edition pin, I grab the chance to join.

Make Your Havaianas (21)

Say hello to my first ever pair of Havaianas slipper!

#OOTD: A Night of Glitz and Glamour at Seda Hotel

Recently got invited at the Seda Hotel VIP Night. It was an event to formally launched Seda Hotel to the public even though it already opened last December 2012. Lots of Kagay-anons attended the party which took place at the Misto Restaurant, 4th floor of Seda Hotel. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food, overflowing cocktails and alcohols serve to all.

Me with the General Manager of Seda Hotel, Lorenzo Tang.

With Michael Ray of Tsadagyud.com

Fellow CDOBloggers and blogger friends from Iligan also attended the party.

Before the party started I was able to catch the press con and then the tour Seda Hotel's rooms and facilities. Learn more about it at my in CDO blog.

Thanks to Phebie, Joan and Judy for my solo pictures and CDObloggers group shots. ^_^
